  • Summary:

With breathtaking sea views, this beautiful apartment is just seconds from the beach with its numerous activities, cafes, bars and restaurants and Brighton Pier. With calming, neutral tones throughout, the stunning living room with dining area is a relaxing, sociable space with a beautiful vista. The bedroom has a boutique hotel vibe with huge soft cushions and velvet throws.

    The Space:

Overlooking Brighton beach and seafront, this modern and stylish one bedroom apartment is in a simply unbeatable location! With everything the seafront has to offer on your doorstep, you can also stroll to Brighton Pavilion, the South Lane for shopping, North Laine for the best independent shops and cafes as well as some of the best Brighton restaurants including Riddle & Finn and The Ivy in the Lanes and Soho House.

Spacious and contemporary yet also homely, the apartment is up on the 6th floor (there is a lift!) of a modern seafront building, hence the impressive views with gorgeous sunrise and sunsets.

The apartment has a large, sociable living room and dining area looking out over the sea, complimented by natural tones and textures including a large sisal rug, huge sofa (that's opens out to a comfortable double sofa bed that's perfect for two) and a matching pair of velvet footstools. You cannot fail to relax and feel very much at home in this space. If you prefer to watch a movie whilst putting your feet up, there's also a Smart TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware plus some cooking basics as well as complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, so please help yourself. For your convenience, there is a microwave, washing machine and coffee machine.

There is a spacious and modern bathroom with a bath and a shower. Complimentary guest toiletries and plenty of bath and hand towels are provided for all guests.

Finally, you have the spacious bedroom with a comfy double bed, made up and ready for you in fresh hotel linen with plenty of soft cushions. The bedroom oozes charm and character and is finished to a high standard in neutral and relaxing tones. There's also plenty of wardrobe space for you to unpack all of your personal belongings. With another huge window, you have more spectacular views from this room too. In addition there is a smart TV in the bedroom.

This really is a beautiful apartment that's perfect for a few nights or a few months, for a work or leisure stay in Brighton.

    Guest Access:

Guests have access to the whole house privately to themselves for the duration of their stay. Access details will be sent prior to your arrival - please note that the key safe box is located a short walk away from the the property as the Albemarle is a stunning Grade II listed building (also why we can't have double glazing).

The building has a lift and the property is located on the 6th floor.

Sea View Marine Parade has a complimentary secure parking space. This is extremely rare in Brighton, a town with legendary parking restrictions and enforcement.

For group bookings all guests must be aged 25 or over and we do not accept party groups or permit late night noise.

    The Neighborhood:

The Kemptown area of Brighton has a lovely community feel to it. With an array of eateries, bakeries, coffee shops and independent stores, it has always been a vibrant part of Brighton. A wonderful afternoon can be had simply strolling along the main street, stopping for coffee, browsing a book or antiques shop before heading down to the seafront. The house is pebbles throw from Brighton Pier

Brighton, a vibrant and eclectic city on England’s south coast, is renowned for its lively atmosphere, diverse culture, and stunning seafront. Known as “London by the Sea,” Brighton attracts visitors with its blend of bohemian spirit and modern amenities. The iconic Brighton Palace Pier is a major draw, offering traditional seaside fun with rides, arcades, and food stalls. Stretching along the shoreline is the bustling Brighton Beach, complete with colourful beach huts and pebbled shores, making it a prime spot for sunbathing, swimming, or enjoying fish and chips by the water.

The Royal Pavilion, a striking example of Regency architecture with its exotic, Indian-inspired domes and opulent interiors, stands as a testament to the city’s unique history and royal connections. Surrounding the Pavilion, visitors can explore the Pavilion Gardens, which offer a tranquil escape amid the buzz of the city centre.

Brighton’s renowned shopping districts, the North Laine and The Lanes, cater to those seeking unique and independent shops, boutiques, vintage treasures, and art galleries. The North Laine is especially known for its vibrant street art and alternative flair, while The Lanes charm with their narrow, winding alleys filled with jewellery stores, cafes, and restaurants.

Food lovers will find a diverse culinary scene, from innovative plant-based eateries to high-end dining and international cuisine. Brighton's commitment to sustainability and local produce is reflected in its popular food markets and eco-friendly cafes.

The city’s nightlife is legendary, boasting a wide range of pubs, cocktail bars, and nightclubs, as well as venues showcasing live music and theatre performances. Events such as the Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe, and the annual Brighton Pride, one of the UK's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations, contribute to its reputation as a city that champions inclusivity and creativity.

Surrounded by the scenic South Downs National Park, Brighton provides both the excitement of city life and the serenity of the countryside, making it an appealing destination for travellers seeking a mix of adventure and relaxation.

    Getting Around:

Brighton is well-connected, making it easy to reach and navigate whether you’re arriving by train, coach, or car. Located just an hour south of London by rail, Brighton’s central station is served by regular trains from London Victoria, London Bridge, and St Pancras International, providing a quick and direct link to the capital. For international visitors, Gatwick Airport is just a 30-minute train ride away, while Heathrow Airport can be reached by a convenient coach or train journey.

If you’re travelling by coach, National Express operates services from London, Heathrow, and other major UK cities, typically arriving at Pool Valley Coach Station, a short walk from the beach and city centre. Driving to Brighton is straightforward, with the A23 linking it directly to London and the M25, while the A27 connects Brighton with towns along the south coast. However, parking in Brighton can be limited, especially in the city centre. Many visitors find it easier to park at one of the city’s Park & Ride locations or in one of the larger car parks outside the central area.

Once in Brighton, getting around is easy without a car. The city’s bus network, run by Brighton & Hove Buses, offers extensive routes across Brighton, Hove, and surrounding areas, with frequent services. Day passes and contactless payment options make it convenient to hop on and off. For short distances, Brighton is a very walkable city, with many attractions, shopping districts, and the beach all within easy reach.

Cycling is also popular, and there are dedicated bike lanes throughout the city. Brighton has a public bike hire scheme, BTN BikeShare, with docking stations located conveniently around central areas and the seafront. Taxis and rideshare services are readily available, offering another easy way to get around, particularly for trips outside the main city hub.

For exploring further afield, the South Downs National Park is accessible by bus or train, with routes taking you to scenic countryside spots perfect for hiking and exploring. Whether you choose public transport, a bicycle, or a leisurely walk, Brighton’s compact size and excellent transport links make it easy to navigate and enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer.
