Perfect for my parent’s anniversary celebration weekend. My family had a blast there! Check in was easy, kitchen was well equipped, conveniently located just outside of the dells. Beautifully rehabbed historic house. We were thankful for the multiple rooms with king sized beds.

charming home

Charming home with 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs that allowed us to get together with our family including 3 grandchildren. The kids had a blast playing in the front room/porch area. The dining table was long enough for all 8 of us to eat at the same table. The home had been renovated and everything worked great. There are smoke detectors and carbon monoxide monitors in the home. The kitchen was big enough for several people to fix meals at the same time. Lots of counter space. The appliances were all new. One suggestion is to tuck the beautiful quilts into the bed frame so you can see where the bed frame is - several of us hit our shins on the frame when it was covered with a quilt. There are lots of switches on the wall, for lights and it would be helpful to know which switch is for which light. I'm sure eventually I would figure it out. We were able to make some fun cherished memories. The parking lot was perfect for our 3 cars. Gabe our host was very responsive to my many questions and I appreciated this. We went to the Great Wolf water park and you need to allow about 30 min to get there. The drive to get to Wisconsin Dells and Barbaboo was absolutely stunning and we felt like we were in England. Just stunning scenery. Everyone was thrilled to see the cranes in the fields. Wow. That was very cool. We don't have the cranes in Missouri so that was a wonderful scene. Thank you for offering your home to stay in. You have a beautiful home.

Lovely home close to lake

We all love this house! We had 10 people ages 1-75 and there was room for everyone. There's a huge backyard, a lovely cafe and a restaurant across the street, and it's close to the dells without being obnoxiously busy. You can rent kayaks at the place across the street and take them out on the lake. The house has everything you need. We had plenty of towels and the kitchen is well set up for making food even for huge groups. There's plenty of chairs for backyard bbq and fires or just hanging out in the backyard. We were so happy with every part of our stay. One kid said, "best house ever".

Family Vacation in Wisconsin!

We had a beautiful stay at this property for our family vacation. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and have everything we needed. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfy! The front porch was our favorite hang out spot, and we had an awesome time playing giant jenga. Gabe (our host) was amazingly responsive and answered all our questions (even the silly ones!)

Perfect for a Gathering of Friends

I greatly enjoyed my stay! For my partner’s birthday, I invited 9 of his friends to join us for a surprise birthday weekend. My partner’s wish for the weekend was to spending quality time with his friends. This property helped us do just that. Not only was it not far from places we visited, but it was cozy, clean, and met all our needs. Everyone slept wonderfully. The house is updated with a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. But, the highlight of the house is the charming, enclosed front porch. One night, we all sat out there and talked and laughed for hours. The owner Gabe was super helpful with any questions I had and very responsive. I’m thankful for such a pleasant stay.

Great Get Away

We stayed for a girls weekend. The place looked just like their photos. 20 min from WI Dells. A small issue with a few ants. But the owners were quick to respond. The place by the water was more just for boats than people swimming, but we had a nice trip. Would visit again!

Girls' Weekend

The house was a nice space for our yearly get together, and we had a wonderful weekend! The big backyard was appreciated as we love to be outside, and we were happy to have enough space for each of us to have a bed (for the first time in 16 years of these weekends). Communication with the owner was very responsive, most notably when we had an unexpected power outage due to a storm. The only thing that struck us was how often the manual identified fines for anything from leaving ashes in the grill, a window unlocked or leaving past 10:00 am check-out (which is the earliest we have ever had). In 16 years of doing these weekends with VRBO properties we have never broken any of the guidelines and have also never been told we might be charged $200 if we did! To be fair, the owner did offer us some leeway on the check-out time after the power outage. Not sure if these fines are in place due to past bad experiences, but it did cause us to wonder. Overall, very nice property with good space and responsive communication.

Comfortable stay

My family and I from 3 different states met here to enjoy sometime at the Dells. Exactly like the pictures. It was a very comfortable stay, it’s a little ways from stores and the dells but worth it. It’s across from mason lake, a gas station, and a bar/restaurant. The lake is gorgeous and I believe you can rent paddle boats or kayaks but we didn’t partake in that. There is a lot of room to feel comfortable for a large group. I would definitely stay here again.
