Walkers Base - Prussia Cottage Bridport - sleep 3 - Pet Ok - Hand Painted window

Prussia Cottage is a charming 200 year old cottage in the heart of of Bridport. Recently partially renovated and redecorated throughout. I spent a lot of time decorating my house and enjoyed hand painting the windows with coastal scenes, shells and swallows.

Please be aware that due to the nature of the steep staircase, this cottage is not suitable for the infirm.

Extensive walking routes in the area. The nearest: 5 mins from Asker Meadows Nature Reserve, which forms the start of the river walk to West Bay.

Our property has a handmade fitted kitchen if home dining is your thing, or we are very close to local restaurants such as The Bull or Olive Tree. We’re also conveniently close to the best chippy in town.

Bridport is a vibrant town with a great market twice a week, including a vintage market. There are artists studios and antique shops in St Michael’s Trading Estate, as well as a brewery and some great independent pubs. We are also very close to the most beautiful road in Dorset (Abbotsbury coast road) and West Bay and Burton Bradstock beaches.

We are a nut allergy aware property. This means we ask guests not to bring nuts or peanuts, or foods containing them, into the cottage.
Please note, you MUST NOT drive down our street. It is very narrow. The nearest public carpark is adjacent to us and is called East St Carpark. You can pull up in there and I through a covered walkway to our house.
