"We had such a wonderful stay. This house was perfect and felt spacious for our family of four, plus two Shih Tzus. Our favorite area was the screened in patio with the hot tub- it was an awesome way to start and end each day. When we realized how close we were to Chicago (1 hr, 25 mins), we decided to do a Chicago day and drove out for a riverboat cruise. It was awesome being able to easily make a day of that.All around, wonderful stay."

"This was a really nice property & we had a fun stay. Unfortunately, there were a few things that weren’t expected. The master bed was broken so it wasn’t sleepable but they did fix it on our last night after they were notified. The dishwasher didn’t work after a couple of days, but they were supposed to fix that as well. The biggest concern was the main bathroom shower that was very slick and a bit scary to take a shower in because of that. But all in all, it’s a beautiful house and property and...

"It was clean, the communication was great, check in was very easy. The did provide nice little thoughts with cleaning supplies, extra tp , and coffee pods. Also the washer / dryer is a great perk. It is about 10 mins or so south of SJ downtown and beaches but I was born and raised in SJ so understood this before booking.
It did smell very musty, which I know the owners were trying to fix as there are air purifiers in several spots. The AC was window units not central air. The beds were...
