Jim, der „Verwalter“ vor Ort stellte sich später kurz vor. Sehr diskret, nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich. "The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"I was initially rather intimidated by the antique perfection as shown on the website photos and wondered if my rambunctious family would leave it intact but very pleasantly surprised to find the house well worn and quirky . It reminded me of staying in a friends home - there was nothing to remind us that it was a rental -family possessions and photos - books and objects all trustingly left around which gave the house a warm and very haopy feel. Very comfortable beds with good linens and pillows...
