The setting is beautiful and relaxing!The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Even the pots and pans were in great conditionLooking out at the lake every morning was so nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay. Great accommodations. The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The fishing was good and the kayaks added to the experience. Beautiful views over the quiet lake.

Awesome vacation

We had a beautiful end of summer vacation here. The cottage was well kept, clean and gorgeous views. We enjoyed all the extra amenities including 4 kayaks, fishing rods and puzzles and games too for our indoor time.

Extremely clean!!

Felt relaxed from first step in the door! Wonderful view, comfortable beds, helpful management, great kitchen! Loved the heated tile floor in main bath! Lots of birds to enjoy with books and binoculars for identifying.

We had a beautiful family vacation at Irvs place. The house is well kept and clean and the lake is beautiful. We had 4 kayaks available for our use and inside there were puzzles and games for us to do. All in all a wonderful experience.

Family Wedding

My brother, sister and I were looking for a property that reminded us of our family vacations at a lake in New Hampshire. This house was perfect: gorgeous view of the lake, comfortable bedrooms, nice amenities, pretty decor and a working fireplace! Two suggestions: a light marking the driveway for late arrivals, and a few extra blankets in the bedrooms. Otherwise, just great. And thanks for arranging the lovely early spring weather, too!

A True Gem..The enchantment begins as you leave the road and drive down the sloping driveway with brief glimpses of a beautiful lake where this quiet beautiful spectacular home awaits! A true chef kitchen is at the front with the most high-end professional appliances and beautiful countertops and flooring that spreads into the large expanse of living area and dining room full of windows and stunning views with fireplace, large Roku television and comfortable seating - quaint daybed included to lie and read while you take in the spectacular private lake views.Upstairs on the main floor is the large comfortable master bedroom with ample storage next-door to a guest bedroom with two double beds. The upstairs large bath is top-notch beautifully renovated with rain shower walk in floor to top beautiful glass doors and large fluffy bath towels and bath amenities.Walking downstairs is its own oasis with a nice bedroom and a no compromise Murphy bed and spacious room plus a workout room with a rarely ever seen treadmill backed by a large laundry room clean up facility and its own full bath! The lower level opens out onto an expansive brick patio with modern Weber grill, picnic table, Adirondack chairs and a beautiful brick walk that steps down to the expansive lakefront and floating dock.The grounds are beautifully landscaped and lush. This home had everything we needed and loved it so much we returned a week later. A true oasis and great find. We plan to return often!

Family trip consisting of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 1 adult grandchild went off without a hitch. The property is so beautiful- meticulously clean house, soft beds and luxury bedding, top notch kitchen appliances, with the most peaceful view of the lake. Excellent communication from host, including helpful welcome book. Fresh loaf of cranberry bread from local farmer’s market was a nice touch. DeCicco’s Market was our go-to for groceries / wish we had one of those at home. Enjoyed Gaetanos Pizza, Everready Diner, Salinger’s Orchard, and bagels from JV downtown. Cooked most meals on the grill to enjoy the lovely patio. Kayaking right from the backyard was a special treat. Excursions to Candlewood Lake and Carmel (tea room, Ludington statue) were easy trip. We had 90 degrees during our stay and was worried about lower level not having AC. Turned out that not a problem though - kept quite comfortable with the fans provided for that level. Was also a little worried about how the Murphy bed might work out but it was comfortable. Only recommendations for improvement are to add a small fridge in downstairs kitchenette and a TV in the flex room downstairs. Overall 5 star experience.
