The place was very comfortable, bed was amazing views were spectacular!! One thing that would be helpful is a working lighter for fireplace . Would definitely stay there again close to nearby Brevard.

Arrived to find no toilet paper! Cabin was clean, wood stove seemed cumbersome, so we didn't use it. Hot tub was nice- right outside the door. View was splendid. Cabin is remote and I wouldn't want to attempt the drive without having a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Kitchen is well stocked. Stove is gas and was turned off when we got there, but my husband knew what to do ( I'm not familiar with gas appliances ). Bed was comfortable. Cabin is somewhat dated and I would give it a higher rating if it were spruced up.

Cozy getaway

What a great spot for a getaway!! We loved relaxing and reading in the hot tub, sitting in front of the wood burning stove, stargazing, soaking in the mountain views (including spectacular sunsets), and exploring the towns nearby. It was the perfect way to ring in the new year! Thank you!!

Piece of Heaven

This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin. Just as beautiful as it was in 2021. It's sucluded and peaceful. Waking up and looking out into the mountainous view followed by sitting in front of the fireplace before bed was the perfect getaway. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Our quick Getaway

This was the perfect get away for us and our two fur babies. Time to relax and forget about life for awhile. Unfortunately, Helene called us home sooner than anticipated but we are grateful for our few days on the mountain.

Very nice cabin in the woods

We very much enjoyed our stay at this very rustic cabin. It felt amazing to be able to soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking one of the many nearby trails. That was always followed by dinner and a cocktail in front of a nice warm fireplace. The cabin offered everything we wanted and more…including free firewood! The water pressure was on the low side but the hot showers always felt great. The loft bedroom was quite comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had all the basic stuff we needed to cook up a simple breakfast with drip coffee every morning and prepare dinner and drinks every evening. I highly recommend this cabin for couples looking for a cozy, comfortable getaway in the woods.

Cabin needs some home repairs

Everything worked but the steps to go up to the door were not easy to climb with our luggage. We were not able to use front door according to rules. The cabin had dust and bugs in corners / looked like just a quick cleaning before our arrival. The microwave had not been cleaned in a long long time. The cabinets were falling apart. Hot tub fabulous!

Amazing

The only tough part was the uphill climb to the cabin but it was well worth the views! Everything was so easy and our GPS kept us right on track. We had a great time and definitely planning on coming back! Thank you for a great weekend!

Amazing Mountaintop Views

Amazing property and views...very clean. Coming from the flatlands of Louisiana, it was a different world and a little bit of a scary drive but well worth it...literally, a mountaintop view!

Perfect weekend

This place was perfect for us. If you are looking for a nice little get-a-way with a view this place is perfect. It is very close to hiking and waterfalls. The view from the back deck is awesome. Sunsets were great. This area is so scenic.

Rustic and dangerous.

The cabin looks like a piecemeal project over many years. The open walkway is deteriorating and dangerous. The Transylvan County inspections department should inspection the property asap. The view was beautiful. Very poor lighting. Kitchen cabinets were not clean and the cookware was an assortment of old junk. The listing did not accurately state the distance and road conditions to get to the cabin.
