Easy contact to host, very comfortable house.and great view on lake. Kayaks were available also. Not convenient to a grocery store, so come prepared for first or 2nd day. And one lane not paved road with a pull over or 2. Have fun. We did!

We found the cabin easily. access was good and parking adequate. The accommodations were excellent for my two daughters and my wife and i. Our 2 Bostons were happy with the large, fenced yard with room to spare for their romps. nice dock and easy access for the canoe we used. The location was excellent to visit Biltmore and several waterfalls. We wished we had more time but we left it clean and what we packed in we packed out.

3rd year in a row to stay there! Absolutely love it there and the dogs love the yard!!! Everything is clean and kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and small appliances...love the lake and the sunsets!!! And don't forget to see the white schools at Brevard College!

We were very pleased and happy with the home. There were kyacks and a canoe that we used almost everyday. The grandchildren swam and played in the lake. The road up to the home was 1.9 miles and our daughter ran on it everyday for a total of four miles a day. Quite the workout! The owner supplied plenty of towels, tissues, paper towels dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There also was tide available if you didn’t bring your own. The home was clean and comfortable and the host was readily available for any questions that we may have had. I would definitely recommend staying here! Thoroughly enjoyable!!

I loved everything about the place other than you have to take the trash in town to dispose of. Which means we had to make extra trips with stinky trash in my SUV, did not like that.

Perfect remote mountain getaway

This property was the perfect remote getaway. The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful and has a lot of options for hiking and other outdoor activities. Will definitely consider returning another time.

What a fantastic Getaway with the Family. The cabin was everything that was described and more. This is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this cabin. Also, the owner responded in a timely manner to any questions we had.

Gorgeous views!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in North Carolina! The breathtaking views and spacious property were perfect for our family of six. The ping pong table and pool table added so much fun to our evenings. The only downside was the garbage situation at the end of our stay ,we had to take the trash with us in the car to dispose of it, which was inconvenient. It would also have been nice to have some fishing rods available for the gorgeous lake in the backyard . overall a fantastic stay. .

Lovely cabin

We loved our stay, the beds were so comfy. The lake was beautiful. It did rain a lot, but we still had a great time. My only complaint would be that if you have children who tend to get loud when excited or are playing then it will definitely disturbed the neighbors and they may call the owners on you. I’ve been using VRBO for a long time and I’ve never had this happen. But there is a sign that says to watch your noise, but my children being loud were bothersome to the neighbors. And then after that, I kind of felt like I had to constantly be like be quiet use soft voices. But that is my only complaint. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Independence Day Getaway

All of my family lives in the low country of South Carolina, and we decided to beat the heat by escaping to the mountains for our Independence Day. This was the perfect house and the perfect location to do just that. The house was spotless. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up early in the morning to take out one of the canoes or kayaks to go fishing. Some of the best hikes in the country are less than 30 minutes away. If you come during the 4th of July, you’re in for a special treat as one of the neighbors launches fireworks on the dam at the other end of the lake. I cannot recommend this house enough for your summer getaway.
