A warm welcome after our 12hr drive, the house was perfect. Well-appointed and top-level equipment in kitchen and bath. Our group of 5 mountain bikers were comfortable and appreciated the outdoor spaces.

Excellent condition and location, appropriately stocked kitchen including seasonings and coffee creamers. Especially enjoyed the ping pong table and games. Quiet neighborhood.

long weekend in Brevard

I would say the house exceeded our expectations. The living and bedroom spaces were so comfortable. honestly I want to buy that couch. Love that the house came with so many essentials, spices, oils, great pots and pans. that was a plus!

Would love to come back!

This property looks just like the photos. It was so clean and well stocked. Six of us came to Brevard for the weekend to listen to great music. From the home, we walked a few blocks (mostly flat) to great restaurants (Wild Morel was our favorite) and downtown shops. Excellent location and a clean, spacious home with a great backyard view! Owner was very responsive and nice. Would absolutely rent again, and look forward to it!

Highly Recommend!!!

This property is absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful time relaxing while our son finished training for mountain bike nationals with his friends. The house is very well set up and very comfortable. Close to downtown and close to the paved trail for us non mountain bikers. We will definitely be staying here again on our many visits to Brevard. Our number 1 choice from now on.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Valley Bear was wonderful! The property had all the necessities & more & allowed for uninterrupted family time. The property had more than enough space for two families of four. The kids were occupied by the foosball table & ping pong but also the board games provided. The location was perfect, simple walk to downtown and short drive to waterfalls & trails. The entire process from booking to checkout was stress free. I recommend staying here 100%.

Great for families!

This property is perfect for large families and groups of all ages with lots of space for gathering. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the details! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed including a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary local coffee. The property managers were also very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We would highly recommend this property!

Guys Biking Trip

This rental exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, well appointed home with 5 nice bedrooms, a great kitchen, nice living areas...plus foosball, ping pong, a hut tub, cornhole, and more! The house is walking distance from town and close to biking trails. We'll be back!

Mountain Biking Getaway

This place is perfect! I would stay again and highly recommend. Everything was better than advertised and a perfect set up for a group of mountain bikers or anyone wanting a great place to stay in Brevard. We are already planning our next trip!

Magical mountain memories

We’ve never been to Brevard and will most definitely be back again and would love to make it an annual trip. The hosts truly thought of everything, from the foosball table, to the ping pong, hot tub, and so much more. Not only did they think of everything, but everything was very high quality, comfortable, and really a super nice getaway that felt like a home away from home. We especially loved the convenient 5 minute walk downtown for morning coffee or evening cocktails or ice cream. Thanks for a wonderful stay and all the new memories!

Awesome new house close to town

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a short walk to downtown Brevard, and we could easily connect to the greenway to tour the town and breweries on our bikes. House was super clean, well equipped, with very comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed foosball and the hot tub. The owner was very responsive and made it known she was available at any time. Would definitely stay here again!

A perfect family friendly getaway for all nature lovers

This hidden gem exceeded all our expectations Offering a fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, comfy beds, and a beautiful house to call home for a few days. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our host texted us prior to our arrival to be sure we had all we needed. We were welcomed with a handwritten card and gift from the hosts. They had even turned on the lights which was a great touch since we arrived later in the evening. The house is perfect for families! The downstairs is its own little oasis with a 2nd kitchen, loads of board games, a foosball table, and ping pong table. Plus, there is a nice backyard for you to get out and enjoy a fun round of cornhole. The kitchen was fully stocked, clean, an organized, providing everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub was a great addition, offering a much needed escape after a day of hiking. The beds were comfy, the linens were high quality, and the bedrooms were perfectly designed and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The house itself was beautiful! It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home. Exploring Brevard was so much fun, full of charm, great restaurants, and unique shops... all within walking distance. There are so many opportunities to hike to beautiful waterfalls & scenic overlooks! Overall, our stay at Valley Bear was extraordinary. Every detail contributed to an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hidden gem and can’t wait to come back!
