"There were a lot of motorcycles nearby and we didn't hear them pull up while we were sleeping. The room was nice and clean with lots of towels. The nice lady who answered the phone had no issues accommodating our late arrival. Check in and out were easy. We had a very pleasant sleep. Highly recommend."

"This place was so incredible to stay at! This is exactily as its advertised !!! So so wonderful. We only got to stay one night but we will be coming back with the family next year! Increditble front desk lady with such good info about the area! The chickens were a cute touch too! LOVE this place. Went for a oak tub soak and boy! What a treat! Could fit two people very easiely !!! Very very gorgeous area clean bathrooms and shower. Everything was just fantastic! "

"What a beautiful place! The cabin, located just 15 minutes outside of Baddeck, is clean, cozy, and comfortable. There's room for a child or extra guest in the loft, and the kitchenette has everything you need. The view is spectacular, the hammock up in the birch trees is so comfy and peaceful, and there's a fireput to enjoy in cooler seasons. We were so sad we didn't have longer to stay. A blacksmith did a lot of beautiful work on the interior, and the artwork is tasteful and thought-provoking....

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "This inn is right on the Cabot Trail. We stayed in one of the cottages off the main building. It was a spacious kitchenette and well equipped with everything we needed. The shower was a modern handheld model. "This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail.
