"We found this wonderful farmhouse Guesthouse by chance, on the internet and so glad that we did. We stayed there for a few days/nights and NOTHING was too much trouble for the hosts, Sandra and Arthur. Indeed, these lovely people being 'natives' to Dartmoor, have a vast knowledge of how anything and everything happens on the moors. Their knowledge is also invaluable when you want to visit beautiful spots and places of interest within the countryside.

The staff could not do enough especially Steph who sourced some information on the history of the manor for me to read. The food was superb, lunch, dinner and breakfast were all lovely. The car park had travelling contractors vans in it in the early evening and all gone before breakfast that starts at 8am.

Bathroom had a big drench shower and heated towel rail. Plenty of space for our dog's big bed! Ben and the other staff were very friendly and attentive, also accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included and fantastic choice. We ate at the pub on the second night and the food really was fantastic and a good varied menu....
