"We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything."

"A great base to take trips out from. The house was perfect for our family. We cook a lot and there was everything we needed to prepare home cooked food for our family. "After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

"Lovely property on Aughris Head. We were able access locations throughout Co Sligo. It was a bit hard to find initially but the EIR code made it easy (ask the host for this and enter it in Google maps). We loved being surrounded by sheep, green pastures, and the sea. "The stay was wonderful and perfect for our family. Our host, Chris, was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or problems. However, our dealings with VRBO has been a nightmare when it came to payments and confirmation of our stay. At this point I have been charged with 3 payments instead of 2 totaling 500 euro more than the fee for the property. I have made numerous bookings with VRBO but this one will be my last."

A rip off for what it offers
"I paid almost 250 euros for a double room and still didn't include breakfast. Also, the Jakucci wasn't working, the water was cold, and there was nothing they could do. As if that was my problem. When you pay that amount of money, you expect everything to work. At least they could have offered something to compensate, but they didn't. Obviously they didn't care at all. "
