  • Gather your loved ones for an unforgettable getaway at this rustic farmhouse nestled in the tranquil hamlet of Llanfilo. Perfect for friends, families, and multi-generational groups, this character-filled property boasts exposed stone walls and timber-beamed ceilings, sitting on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

    Stepping inside, you’ll notice the abundance of character in this period property. In the living room, bask in the light pouring in from two sets of French doors opening to both the front and rear garden. Revel in here in front of the warming corner fireplace, or explore the games room, a fantastic spot for socialising, featuring flagstone floors and an open fire. When it’s time to eat, head into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a welcoming space with flagstone floors, exposed beams, and an open fire with a traditional bread oven. After cooking a delicious meal, savour it around the bespoke table in the large dining room. The ground floor also features a convenient utility room, an office/playroom and a family shower room with a unique sunken shower. On the first floor, the farmhouse boasts five beautifully decorated bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. The master bedroom, with its vaulted ceiling and exposed stone walls, offers access to a bedroom on the second floor, which features an impressive observatory from which to take in views over the garden. Between them, the bedrooms include one king-size, three doubles, a twin, and a single bedroom. Connecting the master and twin rooms is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Outside, the patio and large lawn are ready for hosting a BBQ while taking in the beauty of the surrounding 8 acres of gardens and woodlands. Private parking is available for up to six cars, making it easy to explore the area at your leisure.

    Hiking and cycling in the Brecon Beacons is at your doorstep, with the Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve, 6 miles away, renowned for its waterfall and picturesque trails. The bookish haven of Hay-on-Wye (12 miles) awaits, where you can wander through world-famous bookstores and enjoy quaint cafes and pubs. For further national park exploration, Talgarth, Bwlch, Talybont-on-Usk, and Crickhowell are all within 14 miles of home.
