With views of the River Honddu and Brecon Cathedral, and the River Usk just a short stroll away, the location offers the best of town and country. Wander through local art galleries and museums, or take a boat trip from the nearby Brecon Canal Basin. For active days out, head to the hills and climb Pen y Fan (6 miles), South Wales' highest peak, for unforgettable views and family photo ops.

Inside, the cottage blends charm and comfort. An exposed stone wall adds character to the relaxing sitting room—perfect for movie nights, morning cartoons, or winding down with a cuppa after a countryside walk. There’s also a downstairs pool table for some friendly competition—great for kids, teens, and grown-ups alike.

The bright and airy kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, and dishwasher. Whether you're cooking up a hearty breakfast or planning the day's adventures around the table, the space works beautifully for groups. A convenient downstairs WC is also available.

Upstairs, the family bathroom has a shower over the bath—ideal for kids’ bath time or a soak after a hike. There are two comfortable bedrooms: a king-size room, and a flexible twin room (which can be made into a super-king on request), both with skylights perfect for stargazing from bed.

Furry friends are more than welcome here, and they’ll love the secure enclosed courtyard where everyone can enjoy some fresh air. The outdoor table and chairs (stored in the lockable barn) are ideal for al fresco meals. The barn also provides safe storage for bikes, perfect if you're planning cycling adventures in the national park.

There’s private parking for one car with EV charger, and with so many trails, riverside paths, and wide open spaces nearby, you and your dog(s) will be spoiled for choice when it comes to walks.
