Check in is a hassle. They want you to pick up keys...nobody does this anymore, keys are obsolete. Also you have to "check out", and leave the keys at the check in location. This process needs to be reevaluated and updated by using available technology.
When we arrived, the door seemed to not fit the frame properly. As we entered the property, it looked as though we were in a porch that had been converted to a condo. The sliding doors and windows didn't seem to fit/close properly. The linens were all dated and felt dirty. Actually the entire property felt dirty. The description refers to a "Penthouse" Condo, which sounds really nice. This is not a nice condo at all. The furnishings are all dated, and looked mis-matched. The kitchen had very few useful utensils. The cheap coffee pot lid was broken, there were no spices for cooking, no nice shampoos or soaps. The whole experience was very disappointing. We spent a lot of money for the 4 nights we stayed, and expected some quality in the surroundings. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners furnished the place with yard sale and consignment shop finds. While we were there the fireplace broke, the toilet clogged, and I walked out of my bathroom at 11AM to find 2 men standing in the kitchen.
I would not stay at this property again. Also, I will make sure I review check in/out procedures before renting any property. There are a lot of choices in Breckenridge, many of which are very nicely furnished and make use of modern technology. Choose carefully.
