    This cozy one-bedroom condo, hosted by Great Western Lodging, offers an ideal home base for a Breckenridge mountain getaway. Relax in the inviting living area beside the gas fireplace after a day on the slopes or enjoy the peaceful river and forest views from the deck. The condo features a comfortable king bed in the primary bedroom, plus a king sleeper sofa and single sleeper chair in the living area for additional sleeping options. A private washer/dryer and recently updated high-speed Wi-Fi add convenience for both short and extended stays.

    Guests staying at Powderhorn have access to underground garage parking and the shared Columbine Pool, located approximately a five-minute walk from the unit. The property is also just steps from the Quicksilver Lift, making it exceptionally convenient for ski days.

    Located at the base of Peak 9, the condo is only two blocks from historic Main Street and its restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Enjoy easy access to skiing, hiking, biking, and other year-round Breckenridge adventures, all from a convenient in-town location.

    Columbine Pool: Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and from mid-November through closing day of the ski area. The shared pool is approximately a five-minute walk from the unit. Please note that the Columbine Pool will be closed beginning Monday, September 28, and will reopen Friday, October 30, 2026.

    We provide a basic starter pack for guests, including travel-size toiletries, a limited supply of paper products, and laundry/dishwasher detergent. This includes enough to get you through a day or two, depending on personal usage. If you have a longer stay planned, you may wish to bring or purchase more. Additionally, we do not supply coffee, spices, or other kitchen food items.

    This home is part of a small collection of Summit County vacation rentals hosted by Great Western Lodging, a locally based team focused on responsive service and comfortable stays. We can’t wait to welcome you and hopefully add you to our growing list of repeat guests!

Christmas ski trip

This was our 3rd stay in this unit. We love the location and the private master bedroom. Also has a good washer and dryer for after ski stuff. Will definitely stay again! Thanks.

Short walk to Quicksilver Chair Lift and Main Street. Condo is bigger than expected with entry way, double sinks in master, washer/dryer, and ample living area.

Great Location in Breck

Stayed here the week after New Years. Property is very convenient to Peak 9, and spacious. Appliances all worked fine, condo was well stocked for cooking. Location, laundry, and space made this a great spot for a family of 4 to get some skiing in. Only issue we had was smell on arrival. Ended up the condo above us had a clog in the kitchen drain line which I think caused the smell. Would definitely book again next time.

Good location for skiing!

Overall, the unit is as advertise, spacious for a couple and walkable to the slopes and town. It was clean and as advertised. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the mattress really needs to be replaced, as mentioned by a prior reviewer and the need to pick up and return keys to the office is inconvenient if you are not driving to Breckenridge. We arrived early and asked to be informed as soon as our unit was ready so that we wouldn't have to wait unnecessarily til the 4PM check in time in the event that the cleaners were done early. However, Great Western lodging never called but we found we could check in at 3:10 PM when we circled back. We would have appreciated a call. Unlike other condos we have rented, usually there were a few kitchen staples available such as sugar, aluminum foil, napkins, etc things other guests may have left however there was nothing at all other than a partially filled salt and pepper shaker which was surprising.

not as clean or new as advertised

The unit was not as described or as shown in pictures. We found a mattress that was very old with a lump the size of a third person. Bedsheets that did not fit. Including pillow cases that were only large enough to cover half of the pillow inside. Dead bugs were found in both the kitchen and the front bathroom. The main bathtub did not drain and immediately had standing water when turned on for a bath or shower. This unit had broken furniture and was not clean upon entry. There were broken locks and interior doors present. I would expect the Great Western Lodging to provide compensation for the misrepresentation of this units condition.

Excellent location and view! Felt like home and was very comfortable for a weeks stay. Just an FYI, the main office is about a mile away from the condo! If you shuttle/Uber there make sure your driver doesn’t leave you stranded and hiking with your bags like my experience. Other than that it’s a great location and would consider staying again.

Great Location

This was a great location and overall a great place to stay, we would stay here again. I gave this a 4 simply because we had to go to a different location to get the key but the people were very friendly and the condo could have been cleaner. I had to clean wipe some areas down plus my husband had to clean the deck which was filthy dirty (mouse droppings, dirt, twigs, etc.) just so we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view so that was disappointing seeing as we had to pay a cleaning fee.

Blah….

The property was updated. However the walls are paper thin, can hear everything,!! The sheets for the pullout didn’t fit and were not clean! No laundry detergent, so bring your own! No coffee so bring your own! There was no lotion or toiletries outside of toilet paper, shampoo (for one person) and conditioner (for one person). Also be prepared to clean before you leave - take out the garbage and do your dishes. The pool and hot tub are across the street a ways and do not provide towels, so bring your own! If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t it! Location was decent for skiing, not ski in and ski out; as advertised, however! Decent place but will not be returning!

Great Location with lots of conveniences.

What is not to like about parking in an underground garage with elevator access to this 3rd floor unit. It's a short walk to Charter Sports where our rented equipment was stored overnight. Then a short walk up to the Maggie. The unit was very nice as well with lots of room for a one-bedroom unit. Nice view of Blue River off the porch. Note that the very nice pool and hot tubs are located across the street in a different complex.

Spacious with a great view

This condo was great for our needs, it was spacious and much roomier than I anticipated and had a lovely view. It was well appointed and we enjoyed the fireplace.

Great condo near lift

Awesome condo with well stocked kitchen tools and spices. Very close to base chair lift. And has a washer/dryer!

Ski Vacation Early 2021

Location was wonderful. Short walk to lifts. Covered parking was right next to elevator and elevator is right next to room. VERY convenient. Only disappointment was couldn't reserve a time in the Hot Tub as it was always booked up, but it was because of Covid.

Overall Great Experience!

We really enjoyed our time at this property! The convenience to the Quicksilver lift was amazing! Only a short 5 min walk. There was plenty of space in the living room for us to relax after a long day on the slopes and the kitchen provided all the essentials we needed to make dinner. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this property again!

Amazing place to stay!

We loved staying at Powderhorn. The location is perfect, the condo is well stocked with the things that are easy to forget like coffee filters. The view from the patio is amazing, I loved having my morning coffee out there and listening/watching the river flow! I would definitely stay here again!
