Readily accessible slopes.Spacious but not best-in-class for design, the house has an "adobe" concept whereby instead of "adding rooms by knocking out a wall" the house "added beds" in what we presumed was a successful move to crank up the headcount.Said differently, family-style groups (which we were) can settle a whole bunch of people. At the bottom of a driveway, needs plowing or 4WD when it snows. Private driveway - apparently no in-week trash removal (at least no notice posted).Everyone had a wonderful time!

Location & gathering heaven

3 generations loved the space(s) to gather and the location for ski in/out. Little trek around the neighboring house and on Four O’Clock run. We truly loved the big couches and nice long table all in one big space to spend time together. Mgr responded well to request for ping pong table top and getting the deck furniture out for us. A bit more ‘functional’ notes would help - but we sorted out the movie room TV system and other items - helps to have youngsters around. Great spot all loved. Look forward to future stays.

We loved our stay. The house exceeds all of our needs. It exceeded our expectation as we were pleased to see the upgrade changes that have been made since our last visit a year ago. The property manager was very helpful with a couple of minor issues we had.

Perfect place...lots of space!

Our group of 10 had a wonderful week at Ski Home Castle! You literally walk across the street, behind the neighbor, and you are on the Four O'Clock ski run which drops into the Snowflake Lift. The home is HUGE and we could have fit twice the number of people we had comfortably...there's a bed in every corner! The hot tub was stellar, ski room handy for keeping our gear straight, the theatre room comfy, lots of fireplaces, beautiful views, etc... We would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect family Christmas

The house was perfect for our large family. The house is laid out in such a way that everyone could find a quite place when needed as well as large open spaces for our family to gather for games and movies. Ryan was amazing. He answered all my questions quickly and provided service immediately. Everyone in our group had an amazing time and agree it was the perfect place.

Wedding Weekend

We absolutely loved our stay. We got married this past weekend and rented the space for all of our friends to stay with us. We were having issues with the dishwasher working, I reached out to the owner & he had maintenance come right out & it was just a breaker that needed to be switched. Communication was great and the space was perfect to spend time with friends and celebrate.

Family Gathering - 80th Birthday

We were searching for a property that would accommodate 17 adults and 6 children for a week-long birthday celebration. Ski Castle fulfilled that requirement. The view from the main deck is breath taking. Enjoying the sunrise over the mountains was a special treat. The property has aged and there were minor issues that did not impact our overall satisfaction. Each family had their private space. The sizes of the main living room, kitchen and dining areas permitted everyone to gather for celebrations and activities. The video room was a favorite spot for younger family members. Recently installed hardwood flooring and new furniture in the living room and kitchen eating area improved the appearance throughout the house. Special recognition is due to Ryan, the Property Manager and David, his maintenance supervisor. Both responded quickly when we had questions or required assistance. Overall, our week in the Ski Castle was enjoyed by all.

Family Reunion

It was a great place for our family reunion. The only problem was lack of floorplan for the home made it really hard to plan where people were to sleep. Also, the number of beds in each room was not exactly what was in the description. We talked to Ryan a couple of times and he was very responsive, though his maintenance person was not able to repair the refrigerators, one, by the downstairs bar, that would not get cold enough, and the other, in the main kitchen, that would not make ice.

Family Vacation 2023

The property was just as listed and as previous renter’s comments. The house was huge with plenty of space. The only issues were the stove didn’t operate properly. It was gas and had to be lit by matches. The ice maker didn’t work and there were lots of light bulbs out so the kitchen area was extremely dark. We were able to replace bulbs so we could see. Finding the right light switches was extremely challenging as well. With all that said, it was perfect for our group and I would rent again. We had no issues with the neighbors which you are warned about repeatedly. We were nervous as we had to use part of her driveway to get turned around due to the deep snow and piles left by the piles. We had daily visits from a fox family! They were beautiful.

Amazing Ski Trip

Our long weekend trip to Breckenridge was amazing and this house had everything our party of 20 could have asked for. Quick and easy access to the slopes, plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained when at home, and enough beds for everyone to find a place to lay their head down just in time to do it all again the next day. We will definitely be back!

As advertised!

Just check the pictures, everything is what it looks like. Very fun stay and very easy to ski in and ski out (only about a 30 yard walk) and the shuttle in to town is about a 4 minute walk that is very helpful since we didn't have a car. We couldn't quite get the boot warmers to work or the sound in the theater room to work, but frankly that could have been user error. Otherwise, great trip. We had 17 people total and fit comfortably. I had a humidifier in my room which was appreciated.

6 families- great stay

We had 24 people stay. 6 families. 12 adults. 12 kids. It was the perfect size for all of us to have plenty of room. The kitchen and living room were great for entertaining and the rest of the house was great for the kids to run around. Perfect location for ski in/out on 4 o’clock run. The sauna does not work so that was disappointing. And the hot tub stopped working as well and only about 85 degrees. But I think someone was in the process of trying to fix it when we left.
