Beautiful home and close to Ski slopes

Beautiful home and a short drive to the slopes and main street. All the supplies were well stocked up, plenty of room for larger groups of 15-20 people.

Beautiful Vacation Getaway

We had a great stay with our family & friends at this beautiful vacation house in Breckenridge. There was ample space throughout the house for our group. All of the house amenities met or exceeded our expectations. The close location to downtown & the ski resort was a huge plus as well.

January Ski Trip

Casa de Alta is a beautiful house with extremely convenient access to the ski resort via the Breck Free Ride silver line. Our group of 18 fit comfortably and had an amazing time both skiing the slopes and relaxing back at the house!

Sibling Reunion

This was a great place for adults! Lots of space for bedrooms, pretty good kitchen facilities, clean, etc. The hot tub makes a lot of noise if you’re sleeping in either room beneath it. A fairly quick and easy ride into town.

Good for a large family

My whole family stayed here while visiting Breckenridge for my Dad’s 70th birthday. It was a great home base for our Breckenridge visit. The Burro Trail was within walking distance of the house which was awesome for early morning hikes to get the day started. We had a few kinks upon arrival but the management company was very responsive and came out and got it cleared up.

Oktoberfest

For a large group of 15, the house worked really well, especially with most of the rooms having their own bathroom. The teenagers enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, while the adults were able to relax. Some parts of the house are a bit dated, like carpets and furniture, but it easy met our needs for a long weekend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was conveniently located, just minutes to downtown Breckenridge and easy access to slopes within walking distances. Two separate living spaces made it easy to spread out as there were 11 adults and 2 children. Very efficiently managed with great communication. The beds were not the greatest but overall it was a good fit for us.

Beautiful Home

We were warned in advance that there were boiler problems but were provided space heaters where needed. Had some minor issues like a coffee maker not working, lack of extra trash bags but have to commend the management company and their service!!!

In desperate need of repair and rude mgmt co

Many things in the house need repair, and the landlord and mgmt company did nothing when I reported it. Broken items include bunk beds, bunk ladder, hot tub, doors, lights, exposed outlets, dishwasher, toaster oven, carpet stains, etc. You can find a much nicer property for the cost!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a great location easy for morning and evening walks! The pool table upstairs was missing a ball.Having a hot tub inside the house is very noisy for the two bedrooms that are located off the hot tub room! As well the beds were pretty worn and mostly like sleeping in a taco or on a very thin piece of bread.The large table was lovely and amazing for a large group. The bedding and towels were clean and very sufficient. Although there were a lot of tools in the kitchen, the knives were so dull they barely cut anything, that could use some updating. The parking situation should be revealed in the description on the VRBO site. We only got that information once we were within 48 hours of checking in. It was fine for my group, but can be an issue for some.Communication form property manager was very good.

Breckenridge Vacation Home

The Rental Unit was generally not very clean, not swept well and not vacuumed well. The appliances were not in working order, the windows would not shut and lock, there was a bedroom window without any blinds, the sheets did not fit the mattresses they had been placed on, there were dirty socks and trash left under beds from a previous guest and there was a dead bat in the garage.

The Breckenridge fraternity house.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stove top had broken and bent heating elements. The oven didn’t work. The entire house smelled like bleach from the hot tub.The dining chairs had broken back supports and the dining table was falling apart from abuse. We actually had a shower head fly off the plumbing pipe and almost hit a guest taking a shower. I would think this was a college frat house more than a vacation rental house.

Suitable for large groups

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a good experience and if we have a large group we would consider this home again. Now for the pro's and con's...The heater in the quad bunk room is broken or we couldn't figure out how to work it. We had to move people around because it was cold. Some of the furniture is old, the dining table looks as if it's about to collapse and some of the beds are very old and uncomfortable. Specifically the bunks. There were stains on the dining chairs.Now for the pro's, though some things in the home need updating, it was a comfortable and clean home with plenty of room for a large group. The hot tub is a nice feature, very clean. The pool table on the top level was also nice to have. They had everything you could need in the kitchen upstairs. Only 5 minutes to town. All and all, it was great for our 10 person group.

Needs Repairs

1. Upon arrival the fireplace was on (end of June), house was extremely hot and smelled bad 2. Carpet ripped, exposing tack strip received cut on foot 3. Several of the ceiling fans did not work 4. Glass enclosed Bathtub/shower not usable, hot water valve missing 5. Several of the doors had loose hinges, causing doors not to close properly 6. Pod coffee maker not working, listed as "will not work in high altitudes" With some repairs and upgrades, this could be a very nice property.

Rental needs some love

We had a great time with our family and friends but the rental could use a little love. The beds and pillows need to be updated. Teenagers chose to sleep on couches instead of bunk beds. The kitchen needs to be stocked better. Or at least state to bring your own trash bags, kitchen towels and hot pads. Location was beautiful! We made it work and had a great time anyways.
