Extremely disappointed that there were mice in the bathroom ceiling fan of the basement ensuite. Local handyman and cleaner services had to come out to remove massive amount of mouse feces twice. Mouse feces came out of ceiling fan onto our heads during our visit. Unsanitary and disgusting that this wasn’t noticed sooner. The half of our group on the basement floor left a day early. We were told ‘management’ would call us to discuss on Monday. Nothing.
Mouse droppings on floor after first clean out of ceiling fan, but before we had to call to have cleaner come back.

The home was beautiful and the views magnificent! Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The convenience to Breckinridge was very nice. We were there at peak color season and the neighborhood was ablaze with color. The hot tub was a welcome treat after long days of hiking and biking.

This is not a single family home

We were greatly disappointed when we arrived for a Breck getaway and saw that this was an attached home. The photos show the entire outside of the home, but this unit is a third of the house. I contacted the rental company immediately as we wanted the privacy of a single family home and they said they had no way to indicate on the listing that it was a paired home. This is simply not true. They could disclose that in the description. I have used VRBO and stayed in several types of homes, condos and townhomes, but I’ve always knew what I was getting. I would have never booked this place based on the price because there were several other options for true single family homes. If you are looking for a paired home that shares a deck and driveway with your neighbor than this might work for you. The kitchen and views are good. This company advertises on VRBO but their systems are not tied to VRBO so they couldn’t help me resolve my issue. I did ask for a partial refund with no response from the rental company. We were truly disappointed by the inaccurate home description.

Best family weekend getaway!

Absolutely loved it! It was my 50th birthday and what a perfect place to stay. We were so close to a beautiful home to see the yellow leaves! Very convenient location to enjoy lunch and shopping downtown and at night enjoyed eating in, relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool and board games! I highly recommend!!

Great long weekend in Breck

Met up with my 5 adult children in Breck as it was pretty central from where we were all coming from. The Moose on the Loose was perfect for us, lots of bedrooms and space; never felt like we were cramped. The house was well appointed and everything was well stocked from the kitchen to the amount of towels. While there were other houses around this property has a feeling of being very private. The house was short distance to hiking trails, the town and restaurants. We all did different things - one fished, a couple hiked and a couple went to the spa. And BTW the views were really good too!!

This property was the perfect balance of privacy/space with proximity to skiing. Its a short walk to a 5-min shuttle that drops off at the lift. The house was great, the property manager is great. I would deffinitely stay again. Bonus: The views of the town from the hot tub are amazing, especially at sunset!

Amazing View!!

This house is amazing - just as shown in the listing. There were 12 of us and every single one of us was amazed by the view that greeted us each morning. There was plenty of sleeping space and all were comfortable. Management company is incredible - extremely responsive to requests. We highly recommend booking this beautiful home for your next vacation!

House is great. View of the Breck Valley is awesome. Deck is where we spent most of the mornings and evenings. Hot tub was nice and hot and killer views. The kitchen has one of the best supply of cooking supplies I have ever seen at a VRBO. The customer service was great. Check in was simple. All texts or emails unless issue. Had a coffee maker stop working. They brought another one in under 2 hours!!! Saved the morning!! Pool table was great for family competitions!! Would and will be back. Great property.

Perfect Mix of Adventure and Relaxation

Perfect location for skiing and also separated from town enough for us to have a quiet stay! We went skiing everyday and easily got back and forth to the house. The host was very accommodating to our travel details. We arrived early and were able to move our check-in time up and store our bags in the garage until the house was ready!!

Not Coming Back

The property was ok, I would not stay there again mostly due to the kitchen. The oven was barely usable due to it not being cleaned in a great while. It smoked so much we had to open all the windows and doors to get rid of the smoke. The actually OVEN cleaning button on the oven is broken so the oven seems like it cannot even be cleaned. We found hair in multiple sinks in the home upon arrival. The house itself is a bit dated (kitchen and bathrooms). The deck was full of snow, think this should have been cleaned off better. The biggest issue in this home is the lack of quality kitchen items to use for cooking. The kitchen utensils were kind of limited and the oven was an issue.
