Beautiful property in a convenient location
The property was great, just as described. It was just a short 5 minute walk to the gondola. The location was accessible in a minivan with no issues.

A great place for a ski getaway
The house was perfect for our family ski trip. It has plenty of room and all of the amenities we were looking for. The location was great because it was a quick walk to a gondola with no wait. It is also very close to the Nordic center which was great for the non-alpine members of the family.

I want to live here!
I normally don’t write a review but this place was so spectacular it deserves one! This house is so spread out if anyone would want some privacy they can get it. It’s absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the gondolas going by right out the living room window. You can take a short walk up to catch the gondola to peak 7 or 8 off of the Breck connect. You can also walk back from the gondola. We were 2 families staying together and would LOVE to return asap!! It is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen including a crock pot. This is my favorite for having a hot meal ready when returning from skiing all day. The host was very responsive and helpful. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Great location, awesome house.
Great location, just a 5-10 min walk to the gondola. Incredible 4 bedroom house with all the amenities. Not the most kid-friendly house, but overall great rental.

Family vacation
We brought our 2 kids, spouses and grandson. The house had everything we needed for the week. The location was perfect for skiers to walk to the gondola. The host was responsive within minutes. The beds were comfortable. The grocery store was close & so was Main Street. We would stay here again.

Perfect
This stay fit us perfectly! We traveled with a three-year-old five-year-old eight-year-old and 13 year old +5 adults. The kitchen was fully stocked with all your cooking needs including crockpot and colander as well as pans silverware and dishwashing needs. It is located a five minute walk from the second stop on the gondola and a quick ride to the slopes. The garage was heated with ample space and the hot tub was perfect for posts skiing relaxation. I would highly recommend the spot.

Great Summer Stay
We spent a week in August and enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space for our two families with 5 kids between us. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved sitting on the big porch and using the hot tub! It was a little warm in the upstairs bedroom (again, this is summer), but we opened the windows and it cooled down at night to make it comfortable. Location was wonderful, with hiking trails right out the front door, and a short walk to the Gondola. Highly recommend!

Great Location
Overall, we had a nice stay. The location and ease to get to gondola up the mtn and down to Main St. was perfect. The home wasn't very clean, didn't feel super well-maintained and seemed a little tired, which was disappointing based on the premium pricing.

Great family stay
The house was super clean, it was walkable to the gondola, the check-in process was easy and the property managers were very responsive. The next time we go to Breckenridge, we will specifically plan to stay here again!

Winter Wonderland for New Years 2021
What an experience!! This home was so much more than advertised. From the check-in process, home layout and amenities to the location and access; the home was well equipped and easily accessible to the ski resort and local attractions! It accommodated our family very nicely and felt like it was our own "home away from home"! The kitchen was very well stocked, the bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries, the garage fit our large rental perfectly and the hot tub and Gas BBQ Grill were a major bonus! Will definitely be staying here again on future visits to the Breck/ Vail area!!

Great location, needs updating
We have friends who live in Shock Hill. We have stayed with them and rented another home last year. The location is great ( close to town, but feeling you are in the woods ). However, there are any number of maintenance issues that need correction.

Relaxing and Beautiful
We had a perfect Fourth of July weekend with our family. The home is in a lovely location. It is a quiet neighborhood with walking paths all around. The home is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. With Covid 19 spreading in the country we were looking for a place for our adult children and ourselves to spend the weekend and enjoy just being together. Cucumber Patch was perfect.

Great stay
We were all very happy with the stay and was exactly what we were looking for. It came with everything you could possibly need and was very clean and spacious. The management company was great too. We received about 20" of snow over the weekend and the front porch was shoveled out early every morning without request. The only downside we experienced was having to leave. We are definitely coming back.

Thank you for staying with us at the Lodge at Cucumber Patch and we are glad to hear you had a great time! I would like to mention that all of the furniture with the exception of the bunk bed has been replaced in the past 3 years. Regarding the hot tub, we do have instructions for it in the guest app as well as an instruction sheet in the basket with the hot tub towels. I apologize if that wasn't easy to locate, sometimes it gets buried under all of the towels. Thank you again and we look forward to hosting you in the future!

A Great Thanksgiving Week with the Family!
We had a wonderful stay for our Thanksgiving week! The kitchen was very well equipped with nice pots, pans and serving dishes, and great containers for the leftovers! They also had a 12 cup coffee pot and a bean grinder, and the hosts gave us some Starbucks coffee which was very nice! We had 6 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs, and we all stayed comfortably. The kids loved watching the gondolas outside the living room window, and we all loved that we could walk 3 blocks to get on free and ride downtown or up the mountain. The hot tub outside was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The grocery store is only 1 mile away which was also nice. Our only recommendation is to put a grab bar in the downstairs bathroom. We had an 84 year old that could navigate the steps....but wished there was a bar or skip strips in the tub. Overall, it’s an amazing place to stay!

Great location and great place. But it’s dirty
I had my family here and we all loved it! Location was great. Carpet is very dirty for a crazy expensive cleaning fee and you have to clean up most of the house already so that is why this place gets a low rating. It’s a huge scam with the cleaning fee. Clean your carpets or quit charging so much for cleaning.

It was professionally cleaned in May and we are now scheduling to have it cleaned again as soon as possible based on your feedback. As far as the cleaning fees, they are set by the cleaning companies we contract with so unfortunately there isn't any flexibility there, however, we appreciate your honest feedback and are taking action to remedy the carpet. Spacious, great layout with 3.5 bathrooms!
Enjoyed our stay! So much space! Great having our own hot tub. We had 8 in our group and we had no problems with space or privacy. You do need to prepare for a bit of a walk to the gondola with your equipment. We didn't mind this walk, but it is a factor in convenience. Breakenridge is a massive mountain and staying at 66 Cucumber Patch made our trip an unforgettable vacation!
