"Overall, a 5 star experience. A very sweet, bijou & well presented cottage, a short walk from Newlyn’s amenities & excellent eateries and, within walking distance of Mousehole. "Everything about this cottage was good. Comfortable bed, bright living room with sea views, well fitted-out kitchen with washing machine - and all detached with garden, parking & good communication. The Sat-Nav took us right there, but had to park and locate on foot as the property is tucked away up a drive way - no big deal though! Beautiful coastal walks nearby."

"What a gem The Laurels is. We enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome package to arrive to after a long drive and lots of information about what to visit in the area. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Would definitely visit again. Five stars!"

"The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well-equipped. The welcome basket of "goodies" was a nice touch. The location is really spectacular - right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, remote but still within walking distance of the village. I was a little concerned about the drive along the muddy track to the cottage, but even I managed it in our little Hyundai i30!"

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen."

"Excellent We loved everything. Just 2 minor bits of feedback - found the cooker took ages to warm up and wasn’t easy to use. Also the sofa was very uncomfortable and unable to accommodate us 4 to watch tv. Very minor things - otherwise we had a WONDERFUL stay and would totally recommend the property Thank you!!"

"Very pleasant stay. We arrived very late in the evening but our key was available form the bar. Very easy. Good sized room - quiet and not overlooked. Didn't have time to go to the gym or pool but looked good. Excellent breakfast with enough choice to suit most tastes. Minor issue that the carpark isaway from the main building so suggest drive to front door to deposit cases etc and then go and park car in car park (lots of space). Grounds seemed well maintained too."
