"Avonlea was a Beautiful property with lots of potential. The property needs improvement. Great location, next door to Shining Waters and the Tourist Mart. The pool area was nice and the hot tub is a bonus. As for our cottage, in one of the beds my daughter found certain hairs that should not have been there. "Very friendly and helpful staff. My suite was so nice, clean and comfortable. The stairs were a challenge with my suitcase, but staff offered to carry it up for me. Great location to stay close to Cavendish beach and driving to other towns. Can also rent bicycles here. A wonderful place to stay!"

"Beautiful cottage - everything provided for cooking! There was a microwave, stove, dishes, dish detergent. There was even a great barbecue outside. The rooms were well organized and comfortable. We loved the shower - very roomy. There were lots of chairs outside for chilling out and reading. We loved Cousin's Beach that was only 5 minutes away."

"My family really enjoyed this cottage! Its very roomy, and close to everything. The cottage was very clean, modern, and felt like we were right at home! * Our only negative would be that the wifi was extremely slow so it was hard to connect the TV streaming services and use our phones. We will definitely be back! Our favorite spot we've stayed in cavendish yet!"

"Wonderful! Fresh and homey without the cliche air-bnb feeling! Our group travels in May, so the pool wasn't operational yet, but beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Absolutely Clean, with lots of windows (except the basement) overlooking the surrounding yard's morning critters and evening sunsets.We didn't use the fireplace because the weather was fabulous.
