"Stayed in the manor house although checked in at the Club reception. No restaurant open, just the Club cafe, which was disappointing. Huge room and huge, comfy bed with large bathroom."

"We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas."

"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

"Fantastic place to stay! Great room, wonderful host. Breakfast was great, just right to set you up for the day. This was our 2nd stay and hopefully we'll return again next year. Can't fault at all ."

"Lovely country pub, perfect for a stop over or to stay a few nights in the countryside. Staff were friendly and thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the restaurant/beer garden out the back was lovely in the warm summer eve."
