"We stayed for a wedding just outside of the village and it was just perfect. The lady on reception last Saturday (17thOct) in the afternoon /evening was great, so informative and took our photo no problem. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. "My partner and I took our dog here and we cannot say a bad word about it. Such an amazing, beautiful, peaceful place to switch off and unwind. Smooth handover and the host is a great, down to earth guy. Had the best time here and we will definitely be back soon :)"

"A character historic pub in a nice rural location, although roads are very Devon and narrow in places! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good food and service with a selection of beers with real ale under gravity from the cask. Very popular with diners on a Saturday night. Room reflected the nature of the property but was clean and comfy. Good selection and quality for breakfast. Went with trad English but kippers and salmon on offer."
