"Very nice property with a pretty little sitting area to watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, neat and well equipped kitchen. Check in and communication with Matt was very easy. Nice parking spot just outside the pretty garden. Would recommend highly. It’s a great location for exploring the northern lakes district and easy to get to Keswick. Very quiet and peaceful location. A nice touch was a bouquet of fresh roses upon our arrival."

"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"Really enjoyable stay in a nice setting, pity about the weather. Fair warning there are some works going on on the property grounds making it a bit more unsightly but nothing can be done about that. Overall great. Thank you."

"The location was brilliant. The property was well equipped, clean and comfortable. However, the external areas were in dire need of cleansing and maintenance. (Getting rid of the bird feeders would help in this matter !!)"

"Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "

"What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! Clean, comfortable and warm with excellent wifi connection. Thank you to the friendly hosts Colin and Lesley who were to hand if anything was needed but who were not intrusive or interferring at all. "Perfect location. Enjoyed my walks to the friendly village pub the sun inn where I was made to feel very welcome as a single traveller. Coffee and Tea facilities but no milk. Tidy clean and Matthew even lent me a uk charger. I left mine in Australia."

"The location is absolutely breathtaking nestled in the heart of the Lake District, easy access to stunning walks. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was particularly good, impressive.
