Good option, Great location!

This place was an acceptable option for the price paid. The location to Silver Dollar City could not have been better, and the check in process was a breeze. The beds were clean and comfortable, and nothing was "gross". The property was just very outdated, but there were no concerns we had regarding cleanliness or safety. The condo looked exactly like the photos in the listing, so we knew what we were getting pretty much.

My stay

Upon arrival it did not appear to have actually been cleaned. After sending pictures of dust, popcorn on floor, dirt and a hair in the sink, a mask on bedroom floor, and filthy exhaust vents in the bathroom. Also sent pictures of unaddressed previous damage including a patio screen off the track. Some TVs were unplugged behind furniture and never got some of remotes to work. Maybe batteries. Could only get response from host during business hours so had no help getting TVs to work and when they did respond suggested I reset everything or call cable company. Signal was not the issue. Powering up was. Overall location and access was great for Silver Doller City. We have stayed in numerous condos in the same resort under different management that have all appeared to have been somewhat refurbished and clean. Was disappointed no one was availbe by phone or email soon arrival to address the issues at arrival before moving in. No compensation was offered for lack of cleaning. I’m sure the rates include a cleaning fee that I should not have been charged for.

This little condo met all our needs. Right across lot from pool and hot tub and just a short walk to the lake. Very quiet and comfortable!

Cannot Recommend Enough

I received a note that explained the check-in process. The location is great. The pool/hot tub are directly across the street (well a little diagonal). The room is ground level. The room was very clean and the amenities allowed us to make ourselves at home. There is a back deck that overlooks the woods and makes for a peaceful morning cup of coffee (you will need to bring the coffee). There is a door to the deck from both the living room and on-suite. We only had one very minor hiccup. The WIFI password was incorrect, but they responded to my text within seconds. They are wonderful. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

Room for improvement

The location was definitely clean and livable, with no cleanliness issues when we arrived. Things like soap by sinks and for dishwasher were there but very low. There were some issues that were not deal breakers but annoying. Living room floor lamp had a weird dark red bulb in it that gave off no light, so swapped the bulb with one from bedroom to get real light. couldn't get either bedside lamp in the king bedroom to work, even though plugged in and bulbs seemed fine. Bed had a thick foam top it seemed like to cover the worn out mattress. when you lay on it, there is definite slant toward middle where I guess the springs are bad.. So it has some things that need some work. In the kitchen you almost can't cook. Almost no bowls, silverware is all tiny stuff, virtually no cooking utensils or tools.. We usually try to cook a night or two, which I did once but it was not easy. Front bedroom with queen bed was fine, no issues there, fridge was clean and cold, stove worked fine. Overall, decent and clean but has some things that need a little work to upgrade it a bit.

Great location

Great location with easy access to Silver Dollar City. Very clean. Comfortable stay for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Nice having two bathrooms!

Better than expected

I was nervous based off the reviews as we came but the condo was great. Outdated, but just fine for a short stay. The view is gorgeous and is 4 minutes from Silver Dollar City, you can see the park from the condo. The communication of the manager was very quick and helpful. You can hear the people above you walking and it is Loud but not the property managers fault, just apart of being in a condo. The front bedroom does need black out curtains as the porch lights and vehicle lights shine in at night time but everything was very cozy and suited us well. Would stay there again.

Vacation

We loved our stay in Branson. The condo was great and we actually had to be relocated to a different condo because the original one we scheduled had an A/C issue , so the manager reached out to me before our trip and accommodated us very professionally and arranged for us to stay at a different condo that was even slightly nicer than the original one. So very thankful for that. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Dirty and not the same unit as the photos

First of all, the photos are not of the unit on Woodpecker Lane, Bldg 6, unit 6. It is a totally different place. Secondly, there ARE stairs to get to the above mentioned unit. Thirdly, the place is horribly dirty and run down!!! We have stayed in 20 plus condos in the last 15 years and this is the dirtiest by far. The carpet is old and stained, the tile floors in the bathrooms are cracked and stained. The kitchen hardwood floor was damaged under the rugs. The tubs were brown with soap scum and everything was dusty! The TV was so smeared with sticky stuff I couldn't handle it. All the glass windows and doors needed windex. YUCK YUCK! I didn't want to take my shoes off. We were there 4 nights--It cost over $800 and I would have rather stayed gone elsewhere. In one bathroom, the toilet paper dispenser was broken, and the towel rack was falling off the wall. The toilet ran the whole time, we have to shut it off, it drove us crazy. The whole place needs updating badly. This was the biggest disappointment. The only good thing was the beautiful deck. Don't stay here--PLEASE!

Had an issue but no real solution offered.

When we arrived we noticed something on the bed, sent a video to the property manger, was told “ I just checked our inventory and since we are sold out we do not have another unit to move you to.” Everything was ok, but probably wouldn’t stay at this exact location again.

Not good

I was surprised when I first walked into the condo because the reviews were pretty good. We've stayed at several places in Indian Pointe/Eagles Nest and this was by far the worst. We procrastinated on getting a place this time and paid for it. There weren't many options left. I don't like leaving a bad review but this place wasn't good. Nothing in the condo is updated, it's all old. The carpet is dirty and needs replacing. The fan in the living room was loud when you turn it on so we left it turned off. There was black stuff around the drain in both sinks in the master bathroom(we wiped with a wipe and it came off). There were long black hairs on the bathroom floor and also stuck to the wall in the master bathroom(i have multiple pics that I wanted to add to this but don't see a place to do that). Someone's kid took a red crayon to the side of the couch and also the master bathroom door. The vent over the fan in the master bathroom was hanging by a thread when we got there. I tried to put it back on but it came off and wouldn't go back on. When we turned that bathroom fan on it spewed black dust all over the toilet below. In the guest bedroom we wiped what appeared to be boogers off the wall above the headboard. There was definitely a musty/old smell when you first walk in. The cables for the living room tv/cable box are a large tangled knot just thrown to the side of the TV stand(as you can see in the pics). There was brownish stuff in the silverware tray in the kitchen. The list goes on and I have the pictures to prove it. Once again, I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place doesn't deserve any better. :(

Perfect for what we needed.

This condo was a perfect fit for our needs. The place was clean and review is accurate. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel room and this property provided pool, 2 br and 2 baths. Great spot near Silver Dollar City. The extra space and amenities was well worth the price IMO.

Good value in a great location

The property was a bit worn compared to the VRBO photos but it's in a great location very close to SDC. Air-conditioning was ice cold and having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Our stay was very good and a value compared to other rentals I looked at of similar size.

Very clean, some maintenance issues

Pros: the location and view were amazing, it took my breath away every time we drove in and it was so close to Silver Dollar City and other attractions. It was very clean and had all of the kitchen items we needed. Also, it was ground level, so we did not have to go up or down any stairs. Cons: there was a very bad smell in the condo, it would get worse when we were gone for the day and it was closed up. The oven would smoke so bad every time we used it that the smoke alarm would go off. The dryer only worked on one setting and not very well, we had to run it 3 times to dry towels. Overall, we would stay here again if the maintenance issues were resolved. We loved the view from the balcony and being able to walk down to the lake.
