After reading the reviews written by those who came before me, I could not think of anything original to say. Everything stated is completely true and then some. The photos, though well done and completely accurate, do not do the location or the property justice. It’s not as if the owners had to get just the right angle to show the property at its best, it is actually better in person than is shown. I did notice that most guests were younger than I am and couples so I will give you the senior citizen view point. First, the cleanliness. The property (inside the actual rental and the entire property that it sits on) is immaculate. Rental properties can look a bit worn or scuffed after repeated uses…NOT this one. It is beautifully decorated and full of little touches that one would find at a spa or luxury hotel. The owners have thought of everything and have meticulously maintained the interior and exterior. Although we had nice weather during my stay I did not take advantage of the hot tub, which was clean, chemically treated for sanitary use, and in a private location on the property. The 2 fire pits (beach side and conversation table) were ready for me to use. The outdoor entertainment area beach side is as well thought out and maintained as everything else. This is not someone’s spare furniture for rental use. On that note I need to mention that the owners must have been confused when I asked about heating. In other water front locations I have been to the “heating” listed has been portable space heaters or electric wall blowers (not to be confused with a heat pump). The air conditioning has been loud window units. NOT THIS RENTAL!! Heating and air conditioning are supplied by a central HVAC system as you would have in your home. So seniors…don’t worry about a water location, cool weather, and being cold indoors….they have you covered! The kitchen looks new with very good quality appliances and is exceptionally, spotlessly, clean. From inside the fridge to the counters, dish ware, cookware….you would never know they had been used by anyone before you. The bed was very very comfortable for these old bones…no second rate low quality matress here. The bathroom was also as clean and well appointed. As stated by everyone else, I arrived to snacks, a small sampling of adult beverages, but most important and nearest to my heart was FRESHLY GROUND COFFEE! I enjoyed that every morning! Such nice touches and everything thought of.
