This was our third time here - it has become an annual tradition for my husband and me. We love the cozy feel of it and that it is nestled in the woods with no one else around. This year, we did our annual outing to a winery and distillery, enjoyed meeting some new people and the live band. Back at the cabin, we made a delicious meal and played some games while enjoying the fireplace and battery-operated candle lighting. The water continues to be "stinky" but we always bring bottled water and "suck it up" when taking showers or doing dishes. We did have trouble with the DVD player (brought some favorite movies) and when that didn't work, we found a movie on the Roku TV. The light near the staircase also doesn't work, despite us bringing and trying new batteries. All in all, we had another fantastic stay and look forward to booking again next year. Thanks to the lovely hosts!

The directions were perfect, easy to follow and sufficiently in depth! The property itself is in an idea location with so mcuh to do in such a close area. We hung out in Corning, NY and poked around the finger lakes. The home itself is spectacular, with a very cozy lay out and everything anyone could need for even a few days out.

The emenities were in over all good condition. I did think the cookware and utensils could use some updating. Also, my recommendation would be to get a kettle to be able to boil water for tea or hot cocoa.

Cabin was as advertised. Cozy, and clean. Location was close enough to lots of different activities but was also remote enough to enjoy privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was amazing! Weve stayed at this property 4 tknes and its been exceptional every time. The only negative, even though i didn't reduce the rating, is the water smell. Often well water with certain bacteria reacts with the anode rod in hot water tanks causing a sulfur smell from hot water only. Try replacing the anode rod in the water heater with an electric style instead of metal and after flushing the tanknout a few times, smell should be gone!

Very nice little cottage. If you have mobility issues, the spiral stairs will be tricky for you. Bring your own drinking water as the well water tastes a little like sulfur. It is a very comfortable place. We made use of the queen size bed upstairs and the trundle twin beds in the living room.

Just got home from an amazing weekend at a beautiful cabin, with two of the best people I know. We could not say enough about the cabin. It was very welcoming, clean and cozy. A relaxing sit on the porch, very quiet….. except for the falling acorns. As far as my dealings with the hosts it could not have been better, TOP NOTCH!

I just have to say that Gary and Dawn offer up a pc of heaven with this cabin and property. Whether you’re staying for just a couple of nights like we did or longer it is just so peaceful, cozy, and has everything you really need. We were in town to visit the Naples grape festival and to be honest we both couldn’t wait to leave the festival and get back to the cabin to just relax and play our scrabble on the back porch! The communication with Gary and Dawn anytime we had a question was amazing! Very quick to respond and accommodating. Bottom line is we can not wait to return….for a longer stay next time!
