Perfect hideaway

It was a great location just perfect for hunting. Only thing that could make it better was a tv to watch the football games… but it was more affordable than others…

Beautiful location

The cabin was even prettier than the pictures. It was great place to get out of the hustle and bustle with the kids and slow down for the weekend. Only complaint, and it's kind of a bigger one, was the mice. There were quite a few in the cabin, and they weren't shy - particularly in the kitchen. It didn't bother me or the kids much, but it had my wife on edge all weekend. Nonetheless, we still really loved it and would definitely return, just know you are getting a bit more of a sportsman's cabin vibe than a family cabin. But that was part of the appeal for us.

Excellent relaxing retreat on the river.

This was a very relaxing cabin on the river. The windows were amazing! The walk down to the river is super steep but we didn’t mind. The river was beautiful!

Cabin in woods

We enjoyed the peacefulness of this stay at Cabin 4. The high, large, full windows all along the front of the home gave a beautiful view of soaring trees and river. The caretaker, Tim, was very helpful and brought us what we needed quickly ( a can opener and grate so we could grill outside over wood he provided). He was very friendly and told us about the property, the history of it and much more. The owner of the property was at the lodge and also was very friendly. We explored the woods in the area. It was beautiful. We didn't hear anyone else and we enjoyed this quietness to hear only nature and the river. There were cabins much further down the road; they were not visible. A group was at Cabin 2, but we didn't hear them at all. This is a special spot. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Nice getaway

Nice quiet getaway. Beautiful scenery. Awesome view from the deck and picture window overlooking the river. Property was amazing. Cabin is set up more of a fishing camp than a couples getaway. Nothing wrong with that though except the beds were a little cozy. Never seen or heard another person all weekend. Would definitely recommend this to any nature lover or fisherman. Might not be the best couples getaway for everyone but it suited us just fine.

Perfect in Winter

Just got back from my stay there after Christmas. Couldn’t ask for more. Snow covered wilderness and literally steps from the Pere Marquette river.

Beautiful cabin

We had trouble with check in, unsalted vacations didn’t let the property manager know we were coming. We had to wait an extra hour to get into the cabin. But the caretaker handled it well and cleaned as fast as he could. It was an inconvenience on both of ours parts. We did end up having a great time. Very clean cabin with gorgeous views!

Great facility and location, need to do repairs and deep clean.

Great property, however it has not been deep cleaned for a long time, all beautiful windows haven't been cleaned for a long time. Very dirty. Several pots and pans were used and not cleaned bur put away. Maintenance of windows and settling of building leaving cracks permits invasion of flies and mosquito's.. On site manager is overwhelmed and under supported. I thought you and "unsalted" would have provided more oversight, could be a fantastic location. Such a wonderful place overshadowed by poor management. Is this true of all your listings? this is our first use of Vrbo and Unsalted.

Amazing weekend getaway

It was a perfect location away from everyone. Exactly where we wanted to be in the middle of nature right by the river. We really really loved this cabin, and would certainly recommend it to anybody who likes to be secluded and away from others!.

No electricity, no plumbing

I liked the cabin but not having electricity and running water for the start of the stay was not fun. First night was very hot without fans, everything in the kitchen was electric so had to go to town to eat or get coffee in the morning, poop in the woods, no showers, no way to wash dishes. No discount offered for lack of electricity. I was told since a generator was not listed as an amenity its the renters risk.
