Spectacular ski chalet by the Bran Castle

Very good

It was a very nice and different house. It is approx. 5 minutes' drive from restaurants and shops in Bran. The host was very informative, available and helpful. We have only good memories with us from here.

Great place

Great place with wonderful views. Road to get there was a little rough but we managed fine in our van. Could really do with better air conditioning as the room on the top floor was uncomfortably warm. But great outdoor area for socialising with a bbq. Washing machine for clothes was very useful and airing racks are provided. Thank you for having us. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cabin in scenic area

Cabin was lovely. Host was amazing. Bit of a drive to the skii resorts (25 to 30min), but tons to do close by. Just down the road from Bran Castle and close to Dino Parc which is great. Would definitely recommend.

Traumhaftes Chalet

Das Chalet ist ein sehr schönes architektonisches Gebäude. Mit seiner Fensterfront lässt es sehr viel Licht in das Haus. Der Aufbau ist genial über 2 Galerien gelangt man zu den verschiedenen Zimmern. Insgesamt sind im Haus 4 Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bad. In der Galerie ganz oben unter dem Dach gibt es eine schöne Ecke zum Träumen und Verweilen. Man kann aus 3 Schlafzimmern separat ins Freie treten. Entweder Balkon oder eine Terrasse. Der gemeinsame Raum das Wohnzimmer und die Küche ist ebenfalls von zwei Seiten über Terrassen begehbar. Es gibt sogar noch eine große Außensitzecke mit Grillplatz. Es ist alles sehr großzügig eingerichtet. Man kann sich sehr gut selbst versorgen. In der Nähe gibt es im Ort zwei kleine Lebensmittelläden oder man fährt 5 Minuten zum Penny oder Lidl. Das Chalet steht im Hang in einer wunderschönen Lage. Der Blick von der Terrasse aus oder auch von den Balkonen aus der 2. Etage Blick auf die Berge ist traumhaft schön. Die umliegende Landschaft mit satten grünen Wiesen und Obstbäumen und kleinen Feldwegen ist einfach schön. Der Ort Predelut mit seiner Kirche und seinen Häusern ist sehr interessant. Es gibt viele Ausflugsziele und Wanderwege. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Beautiful Villa in the Carpathian Mountains. Great for anywhere from one to four couples to enjoy.

Everything was there as was described in the property description. Ema (the owner) met us (we even had dinner with her at the Villa the second night) was a joy to meet and very cooperative in helping us with tours, anything that we needed at the property and made sure we could contact her at any time for assistance. There were four couples and all enjoyed the experience at the Villa. As Ema will tell you when you converse with her before arrival, getting up the road to her Villa can be a challenge but totally worth the effort. Enjoyed the spacious entire downstairs for the eight of us and sitting on the porch (expansive) in the mornings and evenings with the views. Great place to see the area of Transavania and its surrounding areas.

Couldn’t have dreamt of a more wonderful place to spend our White Christmas!

Spectacular views and an enchanting loft from which to read and watch the snow fall. Magical Christmas Tree - really made us feel at home. Wine & festive bread waiting in the kitchen. Warm fire hearth - because a cabin in the snow is nothing without a fireplace with ample amounts of kindling. Luxurious hot tub especially when doused with local lavender bath salts. Kind & generous owner - thank you so much, Ema. Bottom line - We loved our Carpathian Log Cabin, and it’s proximity to the snow globe-esque Christmas markets in Bran & Braşov, and skiing at Poiana Braşov. Romania was a delightful adventure for 2 footloose Californians seeking a winter wonderland.

Extraordinary chalet near Bran "Dracula" Castle Romania

The house exceeded our expectations in every way! Extraordinary design all in wood, beautiful furnishings and an amazing view over the valley. Everything was clean and comfortable. Surrounded by beautiful cherry and apple orchards. Very close to Bran Castle also known as "Dracula Castle". We were able to take day trips to Brasov, Poiana Brasov and Risnov Castle in the near Carpathian Mountains. We hope to be back someday for a longer stay.

Magical / amazing / welcoming

The space is magnificent, well kept and perfect for a big family holiday - every modern amenity to hand! However, it was Emanuela's warm welcome that put us at ease and made us feel at home. She was on-hand to answer any and all questions! It was our first experience in Brasov/Bran and it is truly unforgettable. The views from the chalet are spectacular! The fire is warm and cosy on a cold night - the house was always warm! Thank you Emanuela for your wonderful hospitality! I'm sure we'll see each other next year!

Soul cleansing!

We stayed here in November, the drive getting there has many scenic routes with the beautiful views of the mountains. I would recommend taking a sat nav, but don't worry if you get lost here because the scenery is totally worth it. The log cabin is absolutely beautiful, it is set in a dramatic back drop of the carpathian mountains. Only a few minutes away from Bran Castle. It's is also not to far to Brasov too. I cannot express how much I enjoyed the stay in this place. If you need to refresh your soul and want to get away for peace and scenery this is the place to go. The cabin was clean had everything you need for the kitchen to cook anything you require. The bed was the best bed I've ever slept in. Sofas were comfortable too. Romania as a whole is a fantastic country, most people spoke English and everyone was very helpful. Emma and her partner were very helpful especially with the logs for the fire and with info on places to visit. For star gazing it was magical as you can clearly see the constellations and we even saw many shooting stars We will defiantly be going back to this place again next year.

Great stay in a big house !!!

The first word when we arrived was : WOW !!! Ema and Dan, our wonderful hosts had us provided with perfect indications and so it was very easy to find the house and then the key. We, six adults and a fiveyear old, found everything we needed for a two weeks stay. Ema contacted a doctor when the kid was ill, Dan helped with his good connections to get it repaired immediately when we had a flat tire. All our expectations were met - their house was a real home away from home for those two weeks. Stargazing sitting outside in the gazebo was divine, the full moon rose over Bran Castle - very romantic nights! The cozy beds donated us deep sleeps. Thank you Ema and Dan - hope to see you again one day!!! Marianna

Highly recommended Amazing house

The house in reality was much more beautiful than the pictures. We were a group of 13 people- 6 adults and 7 children, Emma brought us two more mattresses for the children, although in the end we did not need tham because we the living room sofas can be opend to double beds. The house equipped with everything you need, even games for kids, smart TV, eating utensils, dishwasher, washing machine, towels, sheets, comfortable and large beds , a large dining table we could all sit down and eat together, refrigerator, oven, stove, outside was a barbecue, and much more ... In short, everything we needed. The house is a few minutes drive from Dracula Castle , supermarket and restaurants. Emma did everything she could to make us feel at home, and we strongly recommend you to get there.
