"Well equipped and obviously recently refurbished to a very good standard - having 3 showers and bathrooms is really good! Well equipped good kitchen and plenty of space.
Location is ideal, great views of the fells and plenty of walking and other activities on the doorstep."

"Spa cottage was brilliant, it was clean, had everything you needed, very well furnished and its in a great location opposite the lovely village shop and right by the pub. Good walks nearby and everyone very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Braithwaite is such a lovely village."

"This was a truly lovely place to stay with a helpful owner. The location was great located within walking distance of several hiking trailheads, the village shop, and several restaurants. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed."

"We stayed for 5 days and It was absolutely exceptional, views from front and rear are amazing , the rooms were immaculate the location was central to all areas , weather was perfect, visited many places in the Lake District but the Rose Cottage was by far the best 10/10from us & we will be back Alistair , Clare , Sue "

"Wonderful stay as always. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We had a roast dinner and the food was outstanding. I would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone and the fact your dog is welcome too is a huge bonus. "
