Beware Algae Pool...I'm leaving this review in hopes of helping other renters get an insight of the issue with the pool and spare others from what my family and I endured.The home is beautiful and very spacious! It's a shame that the management company nor VRBO helped resolving this matter prior to our check out. We checked in on Saturday and realized the pool wasn't stained on Tuesday. The stairs and the walls were green in various places throughout the pool. (Algae) The host was notified Tuesday pm that we would refrain from swimming as we felt it was unsafe. Long story short. I called VRBO and reached out to the host everyday as of Tuesday and we checked out Saturday and never got to enjoy the pool/spa. Pool was cleaned Friday am and all the algae started to float to the surface Saturday am. Therefore this "Waterfall Retreat" was just to be enjoyed from afar. I wish more people would leave honest reviews so that we, as the renters could have a better insight as to what we're getting. We received a 200 adjustment/refund which isn't sufficient to get into a water park for one day, never the less 4 days.
