Dated house

Dining room and sitting room are fine but the rest of the property badly needs updating.Dealing with Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals was a nightmare to the extent that we thought we had been scammed when trying to get access to the property.Communication with them was extremely difficult.

Time Away in a Quiet Suburban Setting

The property was clean and well maintained and as presented in listing. Pool maintenance, lawn care and pest control workers came during my stay for scheduled work. I appreciated having the garage with door opener to keep my rental car in during the stay. The security code for entry was the same as it was when I stayed there in May and that would seem to allow former renters to possibly enter the house unauthorized. The code should be changed after each rental to prevent this. The pool was warmer than it was in May and usable for my entire stay but felt cool at times even in 90 degree weather. I think that by October 1, it would not be warm enough for me. I would have liked to have cable TV access to watch the Tampa Bay Rays games. Overall, I had a good experience. I had better communication with the rental office this time regarding garbage and recycling collection but nothing about pool maintenance, lawn care and pest controll schedule for work.

Great communication & location

The pool was so warm we enjoyed it day and night. We were 10 minutes from Cortez beach which was one of the greatest beaches I've been to in the US. Warm water, beautiful sand, short walk to get to the beach.

A Large House

The house was described as in the VRBO listing, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with pool. It was in a quiet suburban neighborhood. It was clean and well maintained. The woman who called me said there would be an information sheet / packet in the house when I arrived with information about trash pickup, pool cleaning schedule and instructions for operating the televisions. There was no information provided. When I called the office to ask about this, the person whom I spoke to was not very helpful. When I arrived the recycling container was full and the trash container was overflowing. I had to consolidate the trash for pickup on the Thursday morning after my arrival. The pool did not have a heater which made it unusable for most of my time at the house because the water was too cool to enjoy. This was not stated in the description of the property. The televisions only had internet streaming service which meant that I could not watch live news, sports or over the air broadcast television. Many options required subscriptions which I do not have. This lack of broadcast television service was not stated in the description of the property. There were tiny, flying gnats in the house, especially in the bathroom and kitchen where they were attracted to water. They landed on my food when I was preparing meals. I could not locate their source. I managed my trash appropriately and set out the garbage container for pickup. I generally enjoyed the property but these issues detracted.

Bradenton home with pool

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and plenty of towels and bedding. The pool lounge furniture was great. Kitchen utensils and dish ware were plentiful. Needed a cheese shredder as we made pizza. Unfortunately 2 full bins of garbage had been left in the garage but we were able to find out when garbage pick up was and that helped. We would stay here again if the opportunity worked out.

Loved this Bradenton Bungalow

Exactly as described and better in person. Fantastic house close to everything in central Bradenton. Screened in outdoor area with pool and shower is perfect for all day and evening.

Great house with a great location.

Centrally located in Bradenton. Not too far from the beach, downtown or either major street that crosses the city. Pool was nice, but would have been better if the hear was on/available to us. The only complaint was that there wasn't ant notification that the pool guy was coming to clean the pool. It was a big surprise to my family, which was in the pool when he walked in the backyard. Not a complaint, but just strange, but the random toilet in the laundry room that looks out into the garage was a unique design choice.

Cozy with some minor issues

Upon arrival we found dirty razors in the main suite bathroom. The house was very nice. Beds are cheap but not terrible. The grill did not have any propane so after paying all that money to stay we had to go get their propane tank filled. Make sure you have your log ins for anything you want to watch on TV otherwise you won't be watching anything if it rains. Only was an issue for us on one day. Other than that the house was nice!
