We booked this property about three months in advance to accommodate a last-minute spring break trip for two families. The home appears to be a recent remodel, and while it has some appealing features, there were several significant issues that impacted our stay.The pool and hot tub were enjoyable and definitely a highlight. However, the surrounding neighboring properties were in poor condition, which affected the overall atmosphere.Unfortunately, the biggest issue was a rat infestation. We experienced two nights of very poor sleep due to a rat in the home. Although it was eventually caught, it remained alive in the trap for some time, making loud noises throughout the night. Property management later confirmed that pest issues are frequent at this property, which was very concerning and not disclosed ahead of time.In addition, there were major electrical limitations. The home could not handle running the dishwasher, dryer, and pool equipment at the same time. This caused repeated inconveniences, including the house becoming uncomfortably warm. Again, this was not communicated prior to our stay.Overall, while the property has good potential and some nice features, it is overpriced for the experience provided. The pest issue alone is a serious concern that needs a permanent solution before we could recommend this property to others.
