Everything was great...Location was wonderful, the only thing I'd mention is...There was a oder in the house, mildew I think...The AC was loud but not as bad on others reviews. The Bed...Holy Cow please replace your Bed. It stinks. Has a hole and if you roll into it your not coming out anytime soon. Pleae replace that matteress.

My stay

The smell of Marijuana was quite strong in our unit, especially the first few days. Contacted the property manager and was told it was coming from another university. Was offered a visit by the cleaning crew but I declined. The mounted TV in the living room is in an awful place resulting in hitting our heads on it several times. Need curtains on the door and the windows best the door to block the night lights. Having said all this, it is still a great little place and would likely stay again. Some minor issues would just make it even better!

Great location

The safari suite was in a nice quiet location in Bradenton Beach. The king sized bed rolled you to the middle. The A/C was so loud when it kicked on that you could not hear the TV or have a conversation without shouting.In addition, the thermostat was preset on 73 degrees. It would allow us to lower the temperature, but always bumped back up to 73. We would wake up several times at night, hot, as 73 is too high to sleep comfortably.

Very Clean- great location!

What a fantastic location! Right across from the beach and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Our suite was sparkling clean (although the bathroom could use an update). Overall a great experience and would definitely return!

Not gulf front and not very well supplied

We had read other reviews and knew that it was not a true gulf front view. Look at photo #20--that is taken on a narrow deck outside the entrance, leaning over the railing and looking between 2 buildings. So be aware that you will not be sitting on a balcony looking at the ocean. Positives: The unit was clean and had a dishwasher and stackable washer and dryer. Location was great--just across the street from the beach. Bed was pretty comfortable and AC worked great. Updated kitchen Cons: I emailed Vacasa before our arrival to enquire about beach chairs, umbrella, coolers for the beach. No response. You will get beach towels and nothing else for the beach. Bring your own. Patio chairs by the front door were rusted and broken---sitting on them would risk being cut on the back of your legs. Rust and broken metal had been spray painted. So deck was useless. Absolutely minimal supplies in the kitchen. Not a single knife for cutting food--only steak knives and 2 serrated bread knives. No salt and pepper, no cooking oil and no spices. Refrigerator had the ice maker turned off and the fridg turned down to the lowest temp--so no ice and not a cold fridge for the first 12 hours. Make sure you turn them on when you arrive. No BBQ grill. No recycling bin in the unit and no garbage or recycling bins outside. You are instructed to put your bags of garbage on the street on garbage day. Light on the towels if you want to have 3-4 people. We had 6 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths--would be an issue for 3-4 people or bring your own washcloths. 4 beach towels but one was very small, thin and bleach stained. We booked only a month before coming and settled for this unit because of low availability. I recommend booking father in advance so you get a unit with true gulf views and one that has beach supplies, grill, etc. Bring anything you think you might need. You will get laundry detergent for 1 load, DW detergent for 2 loads. One single use shampoo and conditioner, 2 small rolls of TP.

Great Memorial weekend

We truly enjoyed our time here in Bradenton Beach. Our kids had a house down the road for my son’s birthday. It was a great escape from all the noise and fun. Very tranquil and pleasant. Directly across from the beach. I would def stay here again!

A Little Disappointed

The Ad showed what looked like a 2nd floor deck over looking the ocean, the actual location of the condo was in the back. The coffee machine did not work. For the price I felt they were very cheap with the little things. Example: cheap Dollar Store paper towels, toilet paper (only 2 rolls, not enough) soap (only 2 very small bars, not enough).

Parking / cleaning items

The property was clean and well organized. I was given the wrong keys to the unit and had to call for them to deliver the correct keys to the unit. There were no cleaning essentials to clean spills, dishes, etc. I was given directions on where to park via email. The area where they said to park belongs to the house next to where the unit is located. I couldn’t fit my vehicle because the one car that was parked on the driveway was parked in the middle of the driveway. I had to ask a rep to come down and find out who’s car it was so that they could move it. The next day a rep from another vacation rental comp told me I was parked on a private driveway and that I needed to move my vehicle. I showed him the email and enveloped that contained the specific instructions on where I was told to park. That didn’t matter since the driveway belong to the other house. The rep called his boss and they were nice enough to let me park between the houses until they get this issue resolved. Never received a call from vacasa about where to park my vehicle. Frustrating when I am enjoying the sun and get a call that I have to move my vehicle and have to handle this issue on my own. I’m the renter, I was given the wrong info, send a rep down and fix the issue, no need for the renter to use his vacation time to deal with these type of issues.

Excellent location

We were right across the street from the beach! Great for morning walks, tanning and sunsets. Enough room to move around and comfortable. Plenty of towels. Only minor things were.... only 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper for 4 days and you have bring your own hair dryer. Nothing major at all. We would rent it again for sure! Thanks for the memories.

So Close to the Beach!

The number one highlight was distance to the beach. We were literally 100 feet away from the beach. It was perfect for running back up during the day. The beach was beautiful. If you have kids, I’d recommend this place. It was perfect for my wife and I. Highly recommend it.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

This condo had everything you would need to setup temp. housing. It was terrific. You need not (REALLY) bring anything excepting food and whatever you can not do without. Very clean. Our unit had three differently decorated balconies, view of the beach which is just across the street can be seen somewhat obstructed . It was my husband and I for 4 days and I typically pack for a month and there were drawers, closet space, etc. Getting to the beach was very easy just crossing a two lane blvd. There also were two piers (unmanned) which were being used for fishing. Well, it was great for us.

The property did not look as nice as the website made it seem. There should have been more towels brought to us but there was not. We had NO internet for a few days because the modem needed to be booted and since it was located on the 3rd floor we had to wait for the people to ok maintence to go up there. We were not given a choice of a condo with a front balcony facing the beach.

Good location. Nice unit.

The building is across the street from the Gulf beach. The building is technically "waterfront." The unit is not. It is in the rear of the building and accessible by a set of stairs. Arriving at night it took us a while to locate it. The unit is nice and well furnished. The hot water is querky and the coffee pot is tempermental. Also, we had no internet. Having said all that, the property is in an excellent location, steps away from stunningly gorgeous Coquina Beach and 11 small blocks to Bridge Street with shops and restaurants. My wife and I had a wonderful time.

Everything was absolutely awesome except...

My husband and I are active people, we love the area, the access to the beach and peace and quiet at night. We absolutely loved the amenities & location of this condo except the bed! The mattress on the King has to be replaced! The sleeper sofa mattress is even worse!... Please Please invest in a new mattress and we WILL definitely book again.. it is a deal breaker! (back breaker) There was access to beach chairs, small cooler, and umbrella which saved on either renting or buying!
