The house was nice & the host was very timely with answers when I had questions & gave very thorough instructions on everything in the house, on the area & getting around, which was very appreciated. But it was still alittle confusing (probably just us) trying to actually drive up the lane to the house. We needed to ignore our gps at the end of the road & not turn but just go a few feet more to the very end, like you’re almost going to go off of the sea wall then turn down right in front of it & the house is down at the very end. It seems very tight between the sea wall & other cottages but we had room with our Chevy Impala to get thru, park & unload right in front of the place. Then we were able to back up & turned around in the neighboring drive to go out forward, like the host stated. Everything was clean & comfortable & luckily they provided a few heaters because there wasn’t a furnace & 2 of the 3 nights we were there the temp dropped way down & it was freezing. Also it was close to so much & if it hadn’t been so cold we could’ve walk a lot. We would definitely stay there again!

Rex did an excellent job of communicating with us throughout the entire trip. The property was clean and well maintained and instructions were clear and conscise. The views of the bay are magnificent and the location is difficult to top. A wonderful time was had at a wonderful place. I would recommend and I would stay again.

Rex was very attentive and responsive to our needs. The house was cllean, the ..bed comfortable, and a perfect location to walk and get a frozen Daquiri. I would recommend the house for a trip to Brademton anytime. Unfortunately we sodnt get to use the pool as it was a little cool outside but it looked beautifull. We also Saw this offsprey catch a fisj and eat it right next to us and that was pretty unique Lots of birds,dolphin, and we even saw a fanily of racoons.

What an incredible stay!! 5 stars all around! From location, clean and beautifully decorated place, friendly owners, and easy check in/check out, we will definitely return! My 18 year old son loves to fish non stop when we visit here, so being right next to the pier was a huge reason we couldn’t wait to surprise him with this stay. He catches flounder, snook, tarpon, trout, etc on the AMOB pier. The location is also just a quick walk to the beach, as well as restaurants and shopping. Every time we visit we love going to Island Time for dinner and drinks with the live bands, but we got to try the Bamboo Island Bar for dinner and it was DELICIOUS!we can’t wait to return, and will lost definitely stay at this place again or one of Rex’s other properties!

Newly Remodeled

This location is wonderful. It’s close to Bridge Street with plenty of food, music and shopping. Just a couple blocks from the beach. We loved being able to watch the boats go by in the bay. The only issue was actually trying to get into the home but contacted owner and he walked us through to get in. Also, one of the bedrooms had no air conditioning just a fan and was a little warm.

Great location to bridge street and activitites, quiet, and peacefull. Moring time coffee at Back Alley Treasures is a thing. Walk on the pier or around the beautiful bridge street area

Great location!

Great place, so convenient and clean! Would stay again. Beach chairs and wagon were a great help to make our trip enjoyable, super clean. There are two bedrooms with comfy beds and a couch that my son said was comfortable as a queen pullout.

Don’t judge a book by it’s Cover

When we arrived several homes at the entrance were heavily damaged by the Hurricanes. We were just checking out the location. Wow ! What damage! The cleaning crew was there so we went to one of the Many local businesses for lunch and shopping! We were so relieved to find our VRBO is exceptionally good shape! We had a blast!! Clean and very roomy! Already checking our schedule and see if we can go back!!

Loved this quaint little gem. I would definitely stay here again. Very quiet and laid back atmosphere. Used the Trolley to travel back and forth on the island. Great beaches, restaurants and bars.

Overall, unsatisfactory! For the price we paid, to get shuffled around two residences, shorted our vacation, and dealing with cigarette and weed smoking alcoholics by the pool… I’d say we got screwed. After all that BS, the owner had no problem with blasting us for not putting a couple gallons of gas back in his golf cart.

To sum up our stay at Bridge Street Pier Beach House, Anna Maria Island, FLA -

We had been to Anna Maria Island twice prior. This time, we chose this place to stay based on location, walkability, convenience & fishing, in no special order, and it did not disappoint. Nothing ever goes perfect, but the owner was always available, responsive and a true professional. We will be returning to this, and/or one of his other properties in the future.

Great spot!

My best friend and I took 4 days to get away and this is the home we chose. It has an awesome location! Even though everything is so close, it’s very quiet at the house. Everything you could ever need is there. They have many beach towels and tons of water stuff. A quick walk around the corner takes you onto Bridge Street which has multiple restaurants, bars and shops. Walking over to the beach and watching the sunset was an awesome experience. I love that everyone out there claps when it finally goes down. No need for a car! We will definitely return. Thank you Rex and Michele for a wonderful getaway.

Best location

The Bridge Street house is lovely! The location is perfect as it is walkable to all that Bradenton Beach has to offer and a short walk to the trolley stop to the rest of AMI! The view watching boats in the morning is amazing as well as a short after dinner walk to watch the sunset. Everything is provided in the home for a “must come again” stay!

Spectacular location!

I really loved staying in the Bridge Street Beach Home. In the past 10 years, I have stayed in several different locations on Anna Maria Island, and this is the very best location. I loved the convenience of being on Sarasota Bay and having a very short walk to the Gulf beaches. And, at the end of a long beach day, I loved being able to choose from a dozen different restaurants literally just outside my door. And the free beach trolley was available to take me to any other place further away. What a joy to be able to park my car and not need to use it for my entire stay! This home is lovely and very well appointed with everything I needed while I was there. All I needed to do was show up and start living the beach life. The sea wall was a great place to fish, and the front yard was a great place to cook dinner on the grill and then make s’mores by the fire pit. We also saw dolphins in the early evening. A perfect end to a perfect day! Thank you, Rex & Michele, for providing this wonderful “home away from home”!

Awesome Bridge Street Pier Beach House on Sarasota Bay!

Unbelievable location right next to Bridge Street Pier with water views to Cortez Bridge and fabulous evening ambiance of night-time lights on Sarasota Bay are far better than the pitch-black deadness of looking toward the Gulf of Mexico! We used the beach cart and chairs to walk a block to the beach and got a nice suntan/burn! We enjoyed sitting back and relaxing and fishing right off the seawall with the fish jumping and birds flying across the bay. The Bradenton Beach Marina is only 2 blocks away so we rented a boat and took it out on Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico to enjoy the sandbars and fishing everywhere... We used the Fish Station to cut our fish meet up when we returned to the home. We went out to eat a few steps away at the Bridge Street Key West-style restaurants and bars and had an awesome time! We used the home's Kayaks + Paddleboards for fun on the Bay with the kids. Then we grilled out at the home and relaxed around the firepit while the kids played Corn Hole. We also enjoyed the community Billiards Pool Table and Ping Pong Table and Shuffleboard and Bocce Ball. Can't wait to return and stay here again!
