Great setting but.....
Place is at an amazing property but needs serious TLC & maintance....A couple examples: only sink had just a tiny stream of warmish water, only place for clothes to hang was above coffee pot area, only place for luggage was the floor, only window/door is a slidding glass & doorway is partially covered by the many handprints cloth arm of the daybed...Simple care/fixes would really help.

Anna Maria stay
My biggest complaint is that there was no where comfortable to sit. I thought the daybed was a couch but it was not good for sitting on. The rest of the place was fine, but the living room/bedroom was small. Will, the property manager, was great. Location was wonderful.

Great Location
The condo is extremely small but is a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. I probably wouldnt sta/y there again since I like to have more space where the kitchen isnt in the bathroom.

Although clean unit needs updated. Stained, outdated furniture and small refrigerator/microwave in bathroom closet. No water view and “private pergola” across street behind sand dune. Overall disappointed but you get what you pay for!

We used both the queen bed and the pull out and both were very worn and sunk in the middle. One of the pillows smelled horrible and made me wonder if the sheets were even changed. Nice big bathroom, but the walls in the main room were poorly painted. That wouldn't have made a huge difference but it did add to the overall feeling that it's not a very clean place. We only stayed one night

We loved everything about this lovely place!! We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is awesome, with the beach right across the street! The host Will was wonderful at communicating with us regarding the check in procedure etc. It's a wonderful place to stay! Also, the trolley stops right out front, and we took it from one end of the island to the other shopping. Awesome place with beautiful grounds and pools!

Misleading
Tortuga inn is in a perfect location with good facilities and fantastic swimming pool we would definitely stay there again. The condo that we rented is privately owned and nothing to do with Tortuga although it's in their complex. The way the condo is advertised is misleading. We knew it was only one room with one bed and a pull down bed that sleeps four people with shower and bathroom and a small kitchenette with all towels provided.This was perfect for the two of us for two weeks What it didn't say was there's no wardrobe space at all we had to hang our clothes in the 3ft x 3ft kitchen. Only provided 2 cups 1 knife fork and spoon 1 drinking glass 2 plates No bowls Also no kitchen sink had to use bathroom sink to wash minimal kitchen wear(not hygienic in my opinion) We have been visiting Anna Maria anualy since 1997 renting various accommodation from two bedroom to five bedroom properties. This is our first time in a one bedroom and it was disappointing. There is nothing wrong with the condo as long as it's advertised correctly, not misleading and priced accordingly. This is a true reflection of our stay and not a complaint.It didn't spoil our stay at all. Hopefully this review will help others who visit this lovely island to choose correctly and hopefully the owner will upgrade things accordingly.

This is the perfect spot to spend a couple of days by the beach. Easy parking, across the street from a beautiful beach, and just down the street from shopping and restaurants. The extra beds were very comfortable and the bathroom area is huge. We have family close by so we definitely plan to return.

Flexible cancellation policy appreciated. Warm welcome from host. Great communication on check-in. Made a dream affordable for me. Pool facilities superb as well as ease of beach access. Trolley stops right there. Had to arrive early and could use beach and pool and he explained how to figure out parking situation. Want to come back at least once next year!! Safe and secure.

Ideal condo in ideal location
Communication with owner very good, easy to find in a great location on the island. Condo was clean with all amenities required for our stay. Cross the street and you are on the beach with use of sunbeds, nice pool for chilling out. Kitchen area was a little small but let’s face it who wants to be in the kitchen when your in Anna Maria island. Definitely would come back

Will was very helpful and always responded back quickly to us. Our room was perfect for two. My husband loved being so close to the bay and access to the pier. Short walk to the beach, Comfy beds, Double headed showers, Nice getaway place.

Great stay for two!
This condo is perfect for two people although there is room for more if needed. We loved the location and easy walk to the beach literally across the street! Two things to note: bring your own beach umbrella and be prepared to smell everything your neighbors make for dinner haha! We got fussed at when we were using the wrong chairs at the beach and we smelled tacos and popcorn and some fish being cooked nearby. Will is a great owner and easy to communicate with! We appreciate you keeping a nice condo affordable for a quick vacation! If you're thinking about going here, just say yes and click the button!

Met our needs
The room is pretty standard and met our needs while we were there. We didn't need anything fancy, we were there for the beaches. Good space for 2-3 people to sleep, great bathroom, small fridge and microwave available in the room. Pool was downstairs right below the room, beach was directly across the street, and a few restaurants/bars and giftshop within a very short walk. Trolley stop right outside the inn for northbound travels and across the street for southbound travels. A very good stay. My only complaint, and not due to owners fault, was a very loud and late party spilled out of some rooms and woke us up. Within a few minutes, a loud gentleman stepped out and loudly reminded EVERYONE that "quiet time" was after 10PM. The party quieted after that. 😀😀 I would recommend this place!

Nice place, horrible communication
The owner “forgot” to send the check-in info. When I messaged him earlier in the day he never responded. Once there, there was no one around to even ask. Thank God he picked up my phone call and walked me through the process on the phone. However it was 9pm, dark, NOBODY around, and the whole process made me very uneasy. The room was near a loud waterfall that turned on around 5 or 6am every day. Don’t forget anything in the room (like eyeglasses) the housekeepers “didn’t mention finding anything.” The owner of the room spoke about (in writing) not paying commission to the property owners therefore “don’t ask them for anything, they don’t like me.” The property is very close to the beach, restaurants, the bridge, shopping. We regretted renting a car instead of a golf cart.

Nice Little Place
This small apartment was just what we were looking for. The location was within walking distance of just about everywhere we wanted to go, with the Trolley Stop right out front. The beach was right across the street, with a nice pavilion for shade and ample chairs available. Also plenty of towels in the apartment.

Not what we expected!
It's a great location to walk to the beach ,stores and restaurants. The negatives The floor was nasty . It hadn't been mopped in a very long time. If you walked across it barefoot your feet were black on the bottoms. The comforter and pillow shams had stains all over . They haven't been washed recently it was very obvious. Then to boot as we were packing to leave someone decided to steal a bottle of wine out of our bag that we had just set outside the door as we were loading it on the cart. Over all very disappointed sorry to say.

Perfect Location, Perfect Stay
The Condo is ideally located on Anna Maria Island, about half-way between north and south of Island. Though does not have a full kitchen, there are adequate small appliances to fill your needs. There are good restaurants within walking distance, but a rental car will allow you to experience a greater selection, plus take advantage of more activities on this beautiful island.

Amazing beach stay! Highly recommended
Perfect, blissful, and amazing! So close to the beautiful beach on Anna Maria Island. The pool was so warm and relaxing after walking back from the beach since we were chilled by the evening air. We loved the beautiful art around the pool and unit numbers- so well designed. The rental was extremely comfortable, modern, and cozy. We loved the interior design. It is so kind of the owner to offer an affordable place near the beach with an opportunity for a one night stay. It was the best way our family could afford our short vacation to the beach. It was within walking distance to delicious restaurants. The owner was very responsive and left clear directions. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

3 day stay.
For what it is,, just like a hotel room, it is very good. Clean, plenty towels, good shower, pool to use. Trolley stop right in front of the property. Beach right across the road with covered seating available to sit down and free chairs for that fantastic beach. Possibly needs a kettle for having a cup of tea ( microwave heating for tea doesn't feel the same) might be a good addition. Coffee machine and toaster available though. Fridge, hairdryer. Ate out breakfast and evening meal so cooking of any description unnecessary for us. Place was fairly quiet when we were there so don't know about noise levels. The fact that you can book for just a couple of days as opposed to the week minimum is a big plus too. In truth might go elsewhere for a stay of a week or more, but for two or three days was ideal for us.

Perfect getaway for 2!!!
Cozy, clean, beautiful, perfect location, great price! This was the best spot for me & my partner. The private beach is amazing—no competing for your spot on the sand. Several restaurants are easily walkable, and the trolley will take you wherever else you want to go on the island! TONS of towels for showering, beach, pool—appreciate this so much, as many places tend to skimp on towels & linens. The property is quiet & offers ample parking. Overall, everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay, but sofa bed needs to be replaced.
My family of 4 had a great time here and the location was right across the beach. There were also two pools on site and restaurants nearby. Check in was easy and Will (the owner) was quick to answer any questions I had. The main area of the room is on the smaller side, but the bathroom was spacious. The unit had a mini fridge, microwave, cooler, beach chair, beach toys, and more! There were plenty of towels too, which was nice! The room was clean, but the walls had several stains on them and could use some repainting. The one main gripe I had though was the sofa bed. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and you could feel the hard metal and springs underneath. Plus, you cannot side at the edge of the sofa bed or you will fall through. Overall though, nice stay, just one main issue with the sofa bed. I'd stay here again, but only if I didn't need to use the sofa bed.
