My family stayed for Thanksgiving and we all enjoyed our time at the lake house. There was plenty of kitchen appliances and pantry space. We had all we needed to cook big meals for the 13 of us. The kids enjoyed the game table downstairs and basketball hoop. The fire pit was also a big plus. The Dollar General Market that was right down the street was very convenient for small things.

Great Lake Week!

Our family had a great time at the lake house. There was plenty of space for all 20 of us and Matt and Carolyn were excellent hosts. Highly recommend!

Relaxing lake weekend

We had a wonderful time at the lake house with 3 generations of our family. Everyone had fun fishing from the dock, and the space worked well for everyone to have room to spread out if needed. The dock is peaceful and boat traffic is minimal in the cove. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the host provided lots of good advice for the local area. It was a great Mother's Day weekend treat for us!

Lake life!

We picked the hottest week with temps between 95-99 and the air conditioning struggled to keep up. We spent every afternoon enjoying the lake and dock. Having my family all together is the best!

Great stay at the lake

Our three families really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space and amenities. We rented a boat and enjoyed using the dock. Would highly recommend.

Spring Break

My family had a wonderful time. There’s more than enough parking for the whole crew. The beds were comfortable and the fishing was excellent. What more could you ask for?

My family had an amazing vacation at Casa Del Lago! The house and dock were wonderfully equipped and perfect for our group. Perfect Stay

I had an amazing experience with casa del lago! Their listing was accurate, their instructions for the stay were very clear, and the house was in a prime location for our needs. Very clean with a scenic view and lots of fun to be had! Highly recommend.

Perfect place for our family vacation

From the comfort and cleanliness of the house to the the lake and jumping off the boathouse roof, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our week. Not to mention the perfect weather without a drop of rain.

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Lago! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. The property was well-organized, spotless, and everything we needed was provided. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed over Thanksgiving, and although it was a bit chilly, we still had a great time enjoying the lake, kayaking, and using the paddle board. Highly recommend!

Annual family lake trip

We had such an amazing time at Casa de Lago making some core memories with family! There was plenty of room for everyone to not feel like we were on top of each other. The dock/boathouse was the hit! Plenty of room and we loved that it’s a deep water dock! The hosts were very responsive with any needs or questions. Thank you so much for opening up your lake home to us!

Home was very nice. Location on Wide creek is ideal. The only issue we had was that one of the upstairs bedrooms had access only by a steep treacherous spiral staircase or going outside and re-entering thru the other upstairs bedroom. This was also the procedure to get to the only upstairs bathroom. Unfortunately for my group, We were traveling with a group of geriatrics and the spiral stairs and the lack of access to a bathroom was not an option. The rest of the house was very nice. New appliances and very open layout on main floor. Spectacular view of the lake from the back deck. Nice dock.

Fantastic Group Location

We brought a group of teens from our school, and the property and the location were perfect. We had initially planned more day trips, using the house as a launching point. But by the end of the week, most of the teens simply wanted to stay by the house. There were plenty of water activities that kept them active and enjoying themselves. Our hosts were responsive and a joy to work with. The house was immaculate, spacious, and beautiful.

Great Place for a lake trip!

We had a fantastic stay at Cada Del Lago! The dock and outside space was perfect for us to pull our jet ski up, dock the boat, and enjoy swimming. The home was clean and had all the needed utensils to grill and cook meals. There were plenty of beds for our group! We did find it slightly inconvenient for the upstairs two kings rooms to not have a joined bathroom but we did travel with infants that napped frequently so it may not be an issue for others. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it and return in the future!

Well maintained property on the lake

House on the lake with an outstanding dock and swimming area in a cove. Not to mention beds for everyone and several places to enjoy whatever you want to do on vacation. Numerous amenities, all of which worked as advertised. The hosts were available to respond to texts when questions came up. Other than food, towels and bed linens, you don’t need to bring anything. (Besides a good attitude). The 16 members of our family ranging in age from 2 to 71 had a great week. We hope to return next year.

Loved our time here!

So easy to access from the Raleigh area! The home itself was situated on a great area on the water--the perfect balance of private and ability to watch other boaters. The kids loved the kayaks and paddleboards. The high jump was a huge hit! The owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. There's a nice, very hilly street with little traffic for running/walking. Two family rooms provided plenty of opportunity for everyone to spread out. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook meals. We loved it and hope to be back soon!

Great family trip

Three generations from 82 - 12 years of age gathered for a week of fun and relaxation. House is nice, lake is amazing. We rented a boat and taught the grandkids how to water ski. The fact that the grandparents could sit on the dock and watch the action was great, we loved that we didn't have to travel far to be in open water. The SUPs and kayaks were used daily, the kitchen was well stocked, the kids watched movies in the theater room every night. Our only complaint was the bathroom situation, we would have loved a 4th bathroom, even a half-bath would have been welcome. But overall we had a great time!!

Beautiful home on the lake

Casa del Lago was the perfect home for a family reunion in October. Eleven adults and 3 infants stayed comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed the space and view. There were enough bedrooms for each couple to have their own. The home was super clean and well kept. Our family enjoyed sitting out on deck and taking in the view. We had a warm weekend in October and some of us even took out the kayaks. The open concept was perfect for keeping us all in one room. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we would recommend would be to have an extra folding table accesible so that we could seat everyone in the dining room or on the deck since the house can fit up to 20 people. There was ample seating, but we would have loved to have been able to all fit everyone around the same table. Also, we would have liked an option to pay extra for a linen service just so we didn't have to pack towels and sheets since us our cars were all super packed already (all the families were traveling with infants). Matt and Carolyn were super responsive and provided great recommendations. We had a great time at the local winery only 5 minutes away. It was the perfect fall weekend in a beautiful lake house. Thank you Carolyn and Matt for sharing your home with us!
