We cannot recommend this property enough. The amenities were as promised, the lake was incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and the house was stocked with everything you could wish for. We have stayed in many places, and this was by far the cleanest and the hosts were the most responsive and helpful.

The property is nice. The owners were good at communicating and they were pleasant. I would have like to know all the info in the rental agreement at the time of purchase or before I purchased. Give potential renters the ability to see if the property rules and what is offered by the property is a good fit. Send renters the rental agreement before the refund deadline.

Our 2nd time staying here for a long Labor Day weekend. Everyone had a great time! The water trampoline is a huge hit for all ages. Water Depth at boathouse is great for swimming.

Great family vacation! We enjoyed the lake and all the lake toys (kayaks, SUP's, water trampoline.) The grandkids caught fish off the dock, enjoyed the inside toys, and loved the hot tub! The house was fully stocked with everything! Good communication with owner. They reached out several times during our stay!

Great Lake House for a family reunion

The house is perfect for an Intergenerational family vacation. The trampoline is amazing, and makes the lake extra special. Lots of different areas in the house for everyone to spread out. Having things for the baby made traveling easier for the parents.

Another great stay at DragonFly

Our annual guys weekend just wrapped up a few weeks ago and our second stay at Dragon Fly was great. House is super clean, lots and lots of amenities for families and kids. Owners are amazing - easy to reach communicate with and provide a lots of helpful information to make your stay enjoyable. They have made improvements to the house over the years (new dockside bar area and refinished bathrooms). We'll be back for sure.

Great for multi generational stay

We had a family vacation with grandparents to infants, and there was something for everyone. We loved the water trampoline and the kayaks. We had little nooks for the introverts, and the lower level playroom was wonderful.

Dragonfly Vacation

This was my first time booking a vacation thru VRBO. Tanya and Marty made the experience comfortable and easy. Our families absolutely loved the vacation! We caught enough fish from the dock that we didn’t need to fish on our boats. The kids loved the bouncer, kayaks, and paddle boards. This was an amazing trip and we thoroughly enjoyed all that The Deagonfly had to offer!

Dragonfly was perfect for our family vacation! The house is immaculate. The lake, dock, dock house, and all the water equipment - canoes, kayaks, etc., were enjoyed by all members of the family from the oldest (76) to the youngest (2). We loved it and everyone had a great time!

Highly Recommend!

Dragonfly had everything we were hoping for and more! Excellent location, amenities, and accommodations. Water is deep at the dock so there was no lake muck to deal with. Trampoline kept the kids happy for hours. Shaded table on the dock deck was perfect for the older folks. Lots of seating everywhere and a basement perfect for all age kids. Excellent experience!

Perfect family getaway

We had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, well equipped, and on a perfect spot on the lake. The kids never were bored because there was so much for them to do: kayaks, swimming, jumping off the bouncer, catching fish, stand up paddle boards, hot tub, ping pong, board games, and the pontoon (highly recommend renting the pontoon, so much fun pulling the tubes). It was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation for all and communication with the host was great. The beds were very comfortable. If you are looking for nightlife or late night dining, Bracey is not the place. But, if you want an unforgettable laid back lake vacation, you found your spot.....just don't forget bug spray!

Amazing Family Vacation

Dragonfly was perfect for our family! We had a total 12 people (including 7 kids under 12). Both the kids and adults loved the kayaks, paddle boards and bouncer. The house is located in a great spot on the lake. We enjoyed fishing right from the pier and relaxing by the fire at night. Great place to make memories for our family. After 30 plus years of vacationing at the beach- we have been converted to lake life!

Something for everyone!

Our family had a great spring break at Dragonfly. It was nicely furnished with comfortable mattresses and lots of beds. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong, foosball, basketball and games. We all kayaked and even swam in the cold lake. Great place for a big family.

Girls Trip

Six ladies getting together for annual girls trip. Beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, scenery was beautiful, we felt very safe, but there really wasn't enough seating in main living room to hang out. The cane dining chairs were very hard too. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, so we could take advantage of all the comfy seating on dock and on porch/patio areas to play cards instead. We really enjoyed our stay, house is beautiful with lots of stuff to do! Wish we had known 3 things more than only 24 hours in advance, as it would have helped us buy alternatives : the dishwasher couldn't use pods (needed detergent powder), the hand soap couldn't be antibacterial (due to septic system), and very minor nitpicking here but there was no reusable gold coffee filter. Our paper ones didn't fit the cone basket. Fortunately the thoughtful owners provided all the correct soaps, so what we bought and brought with us wasn't needed. Overall, would definitely stay there again if the VRBO fees weren't so high.

Great house, great location

Really enjoyed our stay at Dragonfly. The house is excellent with everything you need for a nice getaway at Lake Gaston. The owners were responsive and easy to work with from the initial booking all the through check out.
