Lotta beds, not a lotta space

Nice property and location for a family with littles. The common areas are too small for a dozen adults in the dead of winter.

The house was perfect for our grown family of 4. Great cooking kitchen, super comfortable beds, and lots of fun games of pool in the loft. The views are breathtaking. It’s a pretty windy location up on the mountain, but the house is warm and inviting!

Amazing!

Breathtaking views from every angle on the deck, plenty of fun and games for the whole family with the pool table and games at the cabin already! They even left peanut brittle and coffee on the counter for us! I am already planning my next visit!

The Ultimate Work Retreat

Yellowstone / Rodeo Vacation

Jackalope’s location was both beautiful and convenient to both Livingston and Bozeman. Livingston downtown is a piece of old west with a great selection of restaurants, shops and saloons!Had a great time, horseback riding, boat rides, balloon rides and of course the annual Livingston Roundup Rodeo and parade. Jackalope was perfect for our family of 10! An added attraction at the house was a Ring Neck Pheasant that adopted us! It followed us about the yard for the entire time. We nicknamed him “Phil”. Hope he stays for the next visitors!

Wonderful Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Jackalope Lodge. Plenty of space for all of us and a very comfortable home with fantastic views. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms were all very comfortable and being on three levels allowed us all to spread out. Lots of deck space both in front and in back of the house to allow us to enjoy the outdoors. We were visited regularly by deer, rabbits and the resident pheasant we dubbed "Thomas". He came to visit often and enjoyed racing our car down the driveway when we left for our daily adventures! A definite hit with our 4 year old grand-daughter. Rental company was very responsive and easy to work with. We definitely hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Beautiful and secluded

We had a fantastic time at this property. It was actually more beautiful than the pictures gave it credit for. Everything was clean and comfortable. My only caution would be that there is no active air filtration in the house (no A/C). This was never an expectation we had because very few mountain homes have A/C in the area. However, with the smoke and poor air quality we experienced during part of our stay, it would have been nice to close up all the windows and filter air through an HVAC system. Other that that, everything was terrific. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is interested in the Bozeman/ Livingston areas.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used this property as our base camp for guiding some fisherman, so this review deals more with their experience than anything! Needs small glassware, a ladel....desperately needed A/C ( even portable) on the top floor, which of course is only when we are hitting 100 for a week at a go.....great kitchen, great views, garage was awesome! A second beverage fridge would be great as well downstairs BUT that is a stretch. All and all thw guests liked it and I would absolutely recommend it!

Views and breezes - really nice!

This was a family get together with grown children and their spouses and children. The house is built on a really open and pretty floor plan. Very spacious. Frankly, I loved the basement bedroom as it was the coolest in the house. Decks or covered porches on all four sides of the house (one is off the master on the top floor). This area of Montana is known to be breezy which I have to say was really nice in the summer time. The views were spectacular. The Wineglass community sits on a bench above the city of Livingston and just off of the Paradise Valley, so we were looking at vast vistas in all directions except Canyon Mountain immediately to the south. Great views of the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains to the southeast and the Crazies to the north. Lots of foodies among us, and the kitchen was well stocked with wonderfully sharp knives and a broad assortment of cooking paraphernalia. Pool table on the third floor for some evening entertainment when we chose not to ride into town which was less than ten minutes down the hill. Fun trip to the bottom of the hill to a draft horse rescue center (United in Light). Great mornings on the Yellowstone River with Sweatwater guides Brad, Shawn and Evan. Did the Pine Creek Lake trail -- really nice, but when you think you've packed enough water, pack more (or take a filter pump). This is a terrific place for a family or friends to rendezvous.
