The house was well stocked with the basics. The host was helpful sharing ideas to maximize our time in the area.Having the foozeball table and arcade games added a lot of fun for both the kids and adults.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! If I’m ever back in the area I will 100% stay here again. Home was very clean and located in a quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed watching the turkeys and deer wandering around the yards each morning. Everything was well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms. There were more than enough pots, utensils etc to actually be able to comfortably cook. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and we slept great. Doug was great about communication and was very responsive and easy to get in touch with if we needed anything.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We came to town for a wedding and it was amazing. We loved Boyne and definitely look forward to coming back! recommendations would be more towels. We appreciated everything that the Host left for us and when we needed to communicate very responsive. Highly recommend this property.

Great Family Home

Family of 5 (13,16 & 18) had plenty of room to spread out along with hanging out together for family movie night after 6 hours of skiing (just 8 minute drive) in the spacious living room. Super cozy, warm and comfortable along with the "hang out" basement room with video game and foosball. Lovely lake-side town, great sports bar, breakfast spot & bakery all super close. Overall, a great stay. We will be back!

Magical in Stay in the NoMi Mitten

Our stay at this charming, lovingly remodeled and conveniently located and tucked in a quiet neighborhood just two blocks from Lake Charlevoix was delightful. It checked all the boxes we needed for our annual "Dog-cation" we take around the Great Lakes Region for end of summer hiking, swimming and paddling with our dogs. Our hosts elevated the term "hospitality" to a new level: from our initial communications and prompt replies to the warm welcome, continued, genuinely friendly check-ins and thoughtful suggestions to elevate our experience, they have set the bar for what all hosts should aspire to. The mindful selection of gift cards to local eateries will not be forgotten. It was like having a personal concierge who proudly wanted to showcase the best and the hidden gems of a community they truly care about. The thoughtful attention paid to appointments in the home were more than we expected: from new kitchen appliances and cookware/utensils, to great bedding and personal care items. The fire pit area has nice heavy-duty weather-resistant Adirondak chairs perfect for enjoying s'mores and stargazing. While it was just the two of us and our dog, this home has plenty of room to "roam" and find a quiet place to enjoy a book or a TV program (2 TV's!) so it's perfect for even a multi-generational family or small group of friends. We highly recommend Boyne Appetite and look forward to a return stay.

Visit for funeral

Beautiful Boyne!

Our extended family of nine had a wonderful time in the area. Our beds were super comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and restful. Our host was easy to communicate with. We appreciated his daily check-ins and his very thoughtful gift cards to introduce us to Boyne City.

A Pleasant Stay at Boyne Appétit

We had a family of 10: 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 infants that visited Northern Michigan end of July 2023. Needless to say we had our hands full during the trip with the kids. Boyne Appetit was a house that fit our budget and had all the ammenities we were looking for: living room to fit our family, stocked kitchen with modern appliances, air conditioning (window unit and a portable units in each room on the 1st floor), washer and dryer, 2 full baths, backyard fire pit, large screen TVs etc. The house also had an old school arcade console, foosball table, puzzles and board games to keep everyone entertained. Doug was awesome and always prompt in responding to inquiries, hooked us up with some nice gift cards to places around the area and gave us some travel recommendations. We did have some issues with the basement TV and Doug even swung by to try to fix the issue unfortunately it required a purchase that was not readily available. Didn't matter to us much as the TV worked great on the first floor and we didnt spend too much time at the house during the day. My family was very complimentary on how the house was prepared for us. Very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. For those visiting the area be aware thst Just a suggestion when cleaning: shag carpet in the living room had pet hair. Got on our clothes especially the little ones as they were crawling mostly. Otherwise house was very clean.

Family Fun

Our stay at Boyne Appetit was wonderful. Doug was an incredible host! He took us boating and kneeboarding on Lake Charlevoix. The kids are still talking about it. The house was comfortable for the six of us. Also the lower level was perfect for the kids. The close proximity to Boyne City and Charlevoix was perfect.

Clean and comfortable

My family had booked another rental property in advance and the owner ended up selling the house before our stay. We had to scramble to find another place to stay and were lucky to find Boyne Appetit! Doug & Jess are great hosts who truly want you to feel comfortable. The beds and linens were amazing!! I actually miss them now that we're home. The living room is great. I mean, 5 seats recline. How can you beat that? We felt safe in the neighborhood. Boyne City is close enough to all of the places we like to visit - Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Harbor Springs - that we didn't spend all day in the car. The day we arrived was a hot one, about 80 degrees. The a/c units in the house had not been installed yet. Doug & Jess were very accommodating. They came over the same day to set them up so the temperature was more comfortable for us. They left us (and my dog!) some goodies which was awesome. I've never experienced more generous hosts! I'm so glad we found this place and would be happy to stay here again. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to a friend. Thanks Doug & Jess!!

Lake time fun

We stayed for a long weekend with friends to enjoy the lake, bike ride and check out local cuisine. We really loved having the host gifts to know what restaurants to check out. We spent time out at the fire pit and in the nice living space. We’ll stocked kitchen and bath although had lots of towels the only update I would suggest is more wash cloths there were few compared to the amount of towels provided. Beds were super comfy. Loved having the separate down stairs living space. Great location to visit surrounding areas. We could walk or ride into town. We would definitely stay again! Great communication and interactions with management.
