We are sorry to hear of this problem. The cottage was occupied for 6/8 days before your visit so should have been receiving fresh air. We wonder whether the fresh flowers may have contributed to the problem and will select other flowers in the future as well as more airing in between guests. Thank you for your comments. Mariese

Thank you Zoe. The little study/office is quite a useful space for children or for adults to get away from the main room. The low table generally used for luggage is also the perfect height with the children’s chairs for a preschooler to work at.

I apologise for the noise from our neighbour’s concreters. The workers have in general been extremely considerate and this is the first time we have been aware of weekend activity. Fortunately with the concreting of his drive the rebuild is nearing completion.

Thank you for a marvellous review. I agree it suits small families or couples best. The bathroom underfloor heating has been a real hit. It’s surprising how much more comfortable it is compared to other forms of heating.
