    Iona Park is a grand country estate set on a 100-acre working horse and cattle farm in the Southern Highlands. Combining classic elegance with relaxed rural living, the home offers generous proportions and a warm, welcoming feel—ideal for extended families and large groups. It comfortably accommodates up to 21 guests (including 1 sofa bed), with plenty of space to gather or spread out.

    Outdoors, the property is just as impressive. Guests can enjoy a swimming pool, two well-maintained clay tennis courts, and expansive lawns and gardens that invite long, leisurely days outside. Surrounded by rolling countryside and fresh country air, Iona Park is a tranquil and memorable escape, perfect for weekend getaways, or simply slowing down and enjoying the setting.

    Please note:

    - Iona Park has a full-time caretaker who lives on site. The caretaker's dwelling is near the stables and has its own driveway access. The caretaker will not interact with you during your stay and will give guests full privacy - unless there are excessive guest numbers at the property and / or inappropriate behaviour or noise.
    - Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.

    Where will I be?

    Iona Park is located minutes from Moss Vale, and is ideally located to access the local wedding venues, wineries and surrounding towns of Bowral, Robertson, Fitzroy Falls or Burrawang - all within easy driving distance of the property through beautiful countryside.

    Why choose Iona Park?

    Iona Park is an iconic property with abundant features that make this country home a destination within itself. In warm weather, guests can enjoy perfect outdoor country living - dining on the north facing alfresco terrace, swimming in the pool, or a spot of tennis on the two tennis courts! In winter, sit inside by the open fire, share a long, relaxed meal with family and friends, play pool, or walk around the estate in the fresh country air. The private outdoors are a great place to spend time with family and friends enjoying a relaxed BBQ and sitting around the fire pit under the starry night sky.

    How is the property laid out?

    Arrive at Iona Park and enter the estate through ornate cast iron gates, then along a driveway to the house. Enter the grand foyer with ornate curved stair. The hallway leads you to the right wing of the ground floor where you will find the casual open plan dining and lounge area with slow combustion heater. The Corian kitchen features in built coffee machine, Ilve double cooker with 6 burner gas stove and teppanyaki plate. The alfresco area is accessed through the French doors. The billiard room is located off the family room, as well as a bedroom (sleeping 4) with bathroom. The left wing of the ground floor includes the north facing formal dining and lounge area with open fireplace, and 2 bedrooms (sleeping 4 and 2), the library sleeps 2, and theatre room with a sofa bed sleeping 2. There is also a bathroom, ensuite and laundry in this area.

    Upstairs there is an opulent master bedroom with ensuite and balcony which overlooks the surrounding countryside. Across the landing are two more bedrooms (sleeping 3 and 2) with a shared ensuite.

    Please note the jets to the spa baths shown in the pictures are not operational. They can still be used as normal bath tubs.

    Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it?

    This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property.

    Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can 100% guarantee that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If internet access is important to you, please have a backup plan.

    There is a smart TV in the main living area only + one television in a downstairs bedroom.

    What about outdoors?

    Iona Park has extensive gardens and grounds, and a short stroll through the trellis walk leads you to the swimming pool. There are also two full sized clay tennis courts. You are free to explore the property, but please do not enter the paddocks with livestock or engage with the animals. Please also be wildlife aware especially in areas of long grass, or around dams.

    If you have young children, please be particularly aware of the open dam between the house and the tennis courts.

    Iona park has a gas BBQ and a firepit that guests are welcome to use.

    Keeping warm or keeping cool?

    Iona Park benefits from a north orientation, and is well equipped with heating cooling. There air conditioning for heating and cooling on both levels - the most efficient way to warm or cool the house. There are two fireplaces - an open fireplace in the formal lounge room and a slow combustion Cheminees Philippe wood heater in the family room.

    The swimming pool is solar heated so the water temperature will depend entirely on the sun conditions prior to and during your arrival.

    What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

    High quality sheets and towels are provided at Iona Park.

    Parking for cars, etc?

    There is parking available for 5 - 7 cars, on the driveway areas near the main house.

    Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

    Sorry, Iona Park is not a pet friendly property.

    What are the minimum stay rules?

    - Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
    - Easter: 4 nights
    - Long Weekends: 3 nights
    - All other times: 2 nights

    Are there any special Summer Season rules?

    Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Exceptional stay at an unbelievable property

We had a large group of friends staying at Iona Park for a reunion and we were all absolutely blown away. From the moment you arrive, the facilities are jaw dropping. Both the inside, especially the pool room and library, and outside (double tennis court!) were stunning. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty big enough to accommodate all of us. The check-in process was very smooth and the hosts were a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough!

Great house but needs tender loving care

Whilst Iona House is a nice home and we have enjoyed our stay it requires some serious attention and maintenance i.e. stove oven seal is broken. Dial to timer is not working so just start the oven is difficult.Instruction of use is required for the coffee machine. It required descaling before it could be used. This should have been carried out prior to our use.PowerPoints top left bathroom not working Billiard room half the cues are either broken or tips missing No Number marbles for Kelly pool Tennis court needs maintenance Most of the wallhangings that help give character to the house are missing Sink in main bedroom is blocked The handrail in the main bathroom has fallen off Ducted heating is hard to regulate for all the rooms
