"This was advertised as a Verbo apartment, It was a truck stop. A fleabitten truckstop with REAL BUGS THROUGHOUT!!! Tub had bugs and we could not take a shower. We bought sheets and a blanket, Toilet handle was falling off. Smoke alarm had masking tape covering it, NEVER EVER GO THERE UNLESS YOU WERE HOMELESS. It may not even be a step up. Parking was very far away. I have pictures if you need or want them."

"House looks great from the outside. Very quiet, rural neighborhood. Inside the house looks good at first. But we noticed cigarette burns on the couch and curtains, as well as a large stain of some sort on the couch. Noticed small ants on the floor crawling around. Kitchen sink did not work. "This was my first VRBO experience and I loved how easy it was. The cottage is rustic and simple but that’s exactly what I was looking for. I ended up not making it to the winery, but it was an easy drive into Colonial Beach and over to George Washington’s birthplace. And a cozy place to curl up and read during the afternoon thunderstorm!"

"So grateful to have a vrbo where our two 50 lb dogs are welcome. The new home being built next door is beautiful to watch them finish but to see the river we only had to turn left out of the driveway and walk around the corner to see it or go outside the master bedroom to the end of the deck and we could see a slice of it. The owner responds well. It is quiet; there are basic provisions and the a/c works great! The beds were also very comfortable!!"
