The house itself was cute and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. To be clear the house was nice.However, the Management company (Vacasa) that provides the 'service' was sub-par. The front door lock didn't work and the company never answered my call even when using the "push one if this is a safety issue" option on the phone tree. I also texted. They did text me six hours later (after midnight) asking if I was using the code they texted. Yes, I was. The maintenance person also (I also texted in the morning when I found that the toilet didn't flush) had the lock fail intermittently - even after changing out the battery. I shouldn't have lost half a day dealing with these issues, but was afraid to leave the house if I'd risk not being able to get back in. Let's not even talk about having to climb over flood barriers once the door was opened. I found the owners number inside and he did talk me through how to do this, but I never should have had to climb over in the first place. VRBO handles the 'matchmaking' for renters and properties, but the management company handled communication and service - and not well! If I knew there was a different management company, I'd definitely rent this house again. I hope the owner choses a different managment company to handle tenant communications/service.
