  • Hidden in the heart of the Norman grove, you’ll walk down an alley lined with century-old oaks, pass in front of a charming Gothic church, and find the Château d’Hémevez at the end of the path, in a haven of peace. <br>After a year of restoration, the Petit Manoir—dating from the 15th and 16th centuries and located in the castle’s outbuildings—has been transformed into a cozy 200-square-meter cottage. <br>The interior has been tastefully designed using traditional techniques. Offering a magnificent view of the marshes and its two private gardens—including a vegetable garden—the Petit Manoir can accommodate up to 6 people.

Spectacular accommodation in a beautiful chateau that's been beautifully restored and modernized. It's peaceful and beautiful, great views in every direction, and gorgeously appointed. We came out for D-Day tours, and it was a great location for every day of the tour. Highly recommended!

Had a really wonderful time. Such an oasis of quiet, and all of cotentin is within 30 minutes. The town of Vallognes is charming and a quick drive away. The property, nested in the castle, was perfect for me and my wife and the two dogs, and a friend came to stay with us was charmed. It’s quite something to watch the lawn under the morning fog. A beautiful stay we hope to redo someday.
