Fond Memories is a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom 2.5-bathroom villa, located on the hilltop of Governor`s Harbour, and overlooking the harbour waters in the distance below. This contemporary property is part of the distinguished Governors Harbour Collection, a select group of top-tier rentals in central Eleuthera.

The ground floor of Fond Memories is open planned and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and a kitchen island with counter-top seating. The main dining area (with seating for 6) is perfect for family dinners or for entertaining, while the comfortable sitting and living area, with its beautifully custom-built entertainment unit and Cable/Smart TV, is a wonderful space to relax and unwind after a day exploring the island! The ground floor also has a powder room.

Both bedrooms at Fond Memories are located upstairs and include en-suite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes, as well as SMART TVs. The master bedroom features a King bed and the second bedroom contains two twin beds that easily covert to a second King, with plush mattress topper. An additional single cot style bed (with inflatable mattress) can be added to this room for a 5th guest.

The outdoor deck on the upstairs level at Fond Memories offers views of the idyllic harbor below and is a wonderful place to unwind with a glass of wine while watching the sun go down. Downstairs, there is an outdoor patio with table and chairs - a lovely spot for al-fresco dining, while enjoying the tropical, landscaped garden.

Amenities include Starlink high-speed Internet, high efficiency ductless A/C units throughout, back-up generator and water cistern, laundry room with full size Washer & Dryer, SMART TVs in living room and bedrooms, Apple TV, Google and Sonos Bluetooth Speakers with iPad control, and an outdoor propane grill. A smart phone (with local service and data plan) can be provided on request.

Beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and cooler bag are also included with the rental. The swimming pool can be heated for a fee of $250 per week.

For parents travelling with infants and young toddlers, the property managers can arrange for a traveler crib/pack n` play and high-chair for your convenience.

Although this property is offered self-catered, housekeeping services, private chefs and provisioning, and other resources are always available for an additional charge.

We live on island, within a 10 minute drive of Fond Memories. We are professional property managers and always available to assist should you need us, but do like to give our guests the privacy they deserve on holiday.

The town of Governors Harbour, a three-minute walk down the hill, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour, is a weekly street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street until late!

At Fond Memories, we aim to provide our guests with an eco-friendly rental experience. All cleaning is done using only plant-based, chemical free products that are not tested on animals (including disinfecting all hard surfaces between rentals). We use LED light bulbs to reduce energy consumption, and provide our guests with recycled paper supplies (paper towels, toilet paper), as well as reusable grocery bags.
