Our group of 5 women really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s house. Great spaces for eating, sleeping and socializing. We loved walking into town and sitting around the backyard fire pit even on a chilly November day. Highly recommend!

Very nice and comfortable place. Nice private backyard. Very good communication with owner Melissa. Well stocked kitchen. Only drawback, and nothing major, was the inability to hang up any clothing in the main floor bedroom.

This home is beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean and when we had a question the owner responded almost immediately. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of fresh towels in the bathrooms and it was nice sitting by the fire at the end of the day. It’s close enough to town to walk and we fell in love with Saugatuck. I cannot recommend this house enough. Our 50 year college roommate reunion was absolutely perfect.

The house and property were fantastic! It was perfect for our family of 7. The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. The backyard was immaculate, with a large table, gas grill and a gas firepit! We could walk down to the middle of town in about 15 minutes. (If you've been to Saugatuck, you know that it is very difficult to find parking at times.)Our host left lists of favorite restaurants and things to do in the area, and she was easy to get in touch with. Loved it and hope to be back with our family!

Our family's home away from home!

For the second year, we spent a glorious week at the Rivercroft Cottage and our multi-generational family absolutely loves to spend our special vacation time at this lovely home. Everything we need is there: open space for relaxing, separate, more private areas to be more contemplative, a fantastic back yard for the 4-legged members in our group, an ideal location for walking into Saugatauck or making a quick drive up to visit the Felt Estate. Oval Beach is minutes away and Holland is 20 minutes up the road. Communication with our host was superb and we simply can't recommend Rivercroft Cottage enough.

Great location to get to downtown Saugatuck, or to the Blue Star to head farther out. There was a big storm one night and we lost power, owner was great at checking in and sharing info.

Gorgeous Property

We stayed at this property for a family reunion during Tulip Time. The property is gorgeous. The house was very comfortable, roomy, nicely decorated and easily accommodated a party of 9 people. It is conveniently located to local attractions. Highly recommend this property.

Sister-Friend Weekend at Rivercroft Cottage

Rivercroft Cottage was perfect for a 4 day get away for three sisters and two sister-in-laws. We each had a lovely bedroom with comfortable beds, clean spacious bathrooms. The kitchen was the best appointed kitchen we have experienced, also very clean.The public spaces were larger, clean and well appointed. We all could very comfortably sit together in front of one of two fireplaces in either the den or living room. We experienced all varieties of spring weather on the lake in Michigan, but the house always kept us cool or warm.Easily located for a nice walk to shopping district, but could also very easily access roads to Fennville or Holland. Just a super experience and we all highly recommend.Thanks, Melissa.

Spacious, spotless and comfortable.

Great get away…

This is the 6th stay in Saugatuck for our friends group. Lots of things to do and places to eat. Weather was pleasant …. Enjoyed the nice backyard with privacy fence. We will be back!

Loved our stay

We loved our stay at this property and will definitely be back. Such great first floor space for a larger group with kids to spread out and have more than one family room to relax in. The bedroom situation worked great for us, as we have 3 little kids, but the 2 twin bedroom is accessed from inside the primary bedroom (with the king bed) so for some groups that may not work out great.The twin room was also extremely hot at night, even with the box fans running. That is truly our only complaint of the house as our little kids were quite warm at night. Otherwise we thought the home was perfect and will definitely book again in the future!
