The home was very spacious and comfortable, with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms — perfect for accommodating a large group. It’s located in a quiet area, which we really appreciated. The host made sure we had plenty of essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, dish and hand soaps, and garbage bags, which was a nice touch.However, there were a few things that made our stay less enjoyable. One of the beds listed as a queen was actually a full, which was a bit disappointing. The Wi-Fi was very slow, making it difficult for anyone to work from the house. We also didn’t receive the check-in instructions until one minute before the official check-in time, which caused some stress upon arrival. On Saturday morning, we were woken up early by lawn mowing that lasted about an hour and a half, and there were sandspurs both in the yard and unfortunately in the carpet — not fun to step on!

Great location

Prime location for everything! We loved the floor plan of the house, all the bedrooms were great, plenty of parking space. Beautiful home.The broken glass in the back yard was a big and basic so so house keeping... I think a few extra blankets would have been nice as the inside AC was tough to keep consistent.It seemed like it just wasn't yet finished... getting it fully ready and prepared for guests, although the large spaces for meal prep, the layout of bedrooms and shared bathrooms, plenty of outdoor space for big crowds plus the ultimate wiffle ball area in the back yard and ping pong championship was perfect for our family!Items we loved that were there... rolling coolers, beach toys and Hunting island passes!Better if...would be more dish and kitchen hand towels for washing and drying, hair dryers and useable dressers in the bedrooms and bar stools that sat lower to the breakfast bar like the green chairs. Great response time from host. We would definitely go back!
Front of house. Huge front and backyard! Great porches and plenty of parking space.

Beautiful spacious home in St Helena

House was perfect for our stay! Greeted in the huge kitchen with a dozen fresh roses it just continued to surprise and satisfy. My family came from all over the country to celebrate my sons graduation and we had 13 people staying in the house. The rooms were brilliantly situated with plenty of bathrooms so it provided everyone with privacy! Beautiful property and a grill! Highly highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay for wedding at Agapae Oaks

If we only rated this on the overall stay, it would be 4-5 stars after a rough start. It took forever to get the code to the house and once we did get in the house was filthy. We don't mean a little dirt on the counter or dishes in the sink, we mean bathrooms that someone was clearly sick in, wet areas on bedspreads soaking to sheets, rugs and floors that were so dirty we questioned walking on even with shoes. After a few texts and pictures sent the owner who said someone would be out in the morning, got a cleaner there within the hour. We left the house, came back 5 hours later and the house was spotless.

Beautiful Property

We rented this beautiful home when our son graduated from Marine Boot Camp, Parris Island, SC. From the dozen roses in a vase from the owner, to the spacious accommodations for our family, the house was just amazing. The house is located 20 minutes from Parris Island and was in a perfect location. The owner even sent back my sister in law’s Kindle which she left in her bedroom. No questions asked, the owner sent it back to us. That’s a great host.

The house was comfortable, the description needs to mention that two bathrooms are jack & jill for planning purposes. We had 5 couples and the house was comfortable for all. Nice deck and loved the kitchen island!!

Family reunion

This property was wonderful for a family gathering. It was very well equipped with everything you might possibly need, iIt even had a blackstone griddle which was amazing. It was convenient to grocery stores and to Beaufort SC.. I highly recommend this property!!

Beautiful Spacious Home in St. Helena Island, South Carolina

Our family of six was in town to celebrate my grandson’s graduation from boot camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island. We totally enjoyed this beautiful home only 20 minutes from the base. It was very spacious, clean, well-decorated with several Marine items, and included a large kitchen stocked with everything we needed to help us celebrate our Marine. We were greeted with beautiful roses on the counter by the host, and he quickly responded to my one request. I would highly recommend this house for your stay in the St. Helena/Port Royal/Beaufort area!

Graduation

We rented this house for our sons Marine graduation. It was so nice and spacious! They left us beautiful red roses also. Everything was super clean. We had about 12 people and it was perfect. Close to a beautiful beach as well. We will definitely be back to rent this house again.

Family Getaway

Our vacation stay at this VRBO was exceptional! It's a life experience that we will cherish forever and the host welcomed my family and I with a fresh dozen of roses! The house was clean, had spacious rooms and equipped with everything we needed. We were also surprised by how much space was in the backyard, where we celebrated my aunt's birthday and it was suitable for the kids to run and play. The area itself was incredibly beautiful and I highly recommend renting this home from Mr. Brown. He's professional, communicative and responsive. We will be renting from him again in the near future!
