Amazing property. The house was very clean and extremely close to the beach. The owner is extremely responsive and made the checkin process seamless. The community was very quiet with low traffic, a playground, tennis courts, etc. We loved our stay and will be back soon.

Our ladies group of four thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home in Harbor Island. We spent hours on the expansive porch listening to the bird calls, reading, and drinking our coffee and cocktails. Renting bicycles gave us the ability to ride on the beach and scoot quickly down to the pool. The house was well-appointed and offered great living and sleeping space, along with being perfectly located for our trips to visit Beaufort, St. Helena Island, Lady’s Island, Hunting Island, and Dataw Island. Hope to return soon.

Perfect for our family!

Perfect getaway!

The property was as described. We loved the location and the ease of getting to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. The kids loved the beach and the pool and the yard. The house was perfectly suited to our extended family. If we had had more time, we would have loved to explore more, but we did enjoy a picture perfect, relaxing long weekend. Ron was an excellent host! Thank you!

Feeling like home but on vacation

The house was exactly as described. Very comfortable & clean. Great location for the beach. Backyard had so much wildlife to it. Enjoyed watching all the wildlife while sitting on the screened back porch.

Peaceful getaway

Everything was very clean. Owner very responsive. The lagoon in the back had several alligators, turtles and lots of birdwatching. Nice large screened in porch. Kitchen is quite small but well stocked. Only thing that wasn’t as listed was there were no working bikes (all had rusted chains). The community pool area is very nice. The beach is very close and was quite empty. Calm, warm waters. Tons of wildlife including a lot of dolphins who swim about 25 yards from shore.

October at Sirena de Mar on Harbor Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ron's wonderful home at Harbor Is! First of all, our favorite time of year at the beach is the fall, and we had great weather! Secondly, this house was a good fit for our group, as we had two of our grandchildren with us during their Fall Break from school.They loved their bunkbed room and especially the screened porch, where we spent a lot of time! This home is not right on the beach, but we had some very nice view s of the ocean from various points in the house and porch, and we had the added plus of watching birds and baby alligators (along with a big momma alligator) in the lagoon behind the house! The grandgirls and their dad took advantage of being close to the beach and the community pool, and swan every day even though the water was a bit cool. They didn't care at all, and especially enjoyed the bigger than usual waves, as we had a pretty consistent brisk breeze while wewere there. The only complaint we have is about the very small kitchen in this house. We cooked every night. My husband and I are used to preparing meals together, but the size of the kitchen made that difficult, even though everything was in good working order. If your group wants to eat out a lot and you may only use the kitchen for making coffee and a simple breakfast in the mornings, you will be fine with this kitchen. The other rooms in the house and the porches are generously sized. We definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful views

The views from the screened porch did not disappoint! We spent every morning rocking in the chairs with our coffee/tea, watching the ocean waves. We walked out to the edge of the neighborhood every night to catch a completely unobstructed view of the sunsets, but enjoyed watching sky change color from the deck as well. The beach was a little rough due to storms but we enjoyed sitting in the provided beach chairs and listening to the waves. The house was beautifully decorated and the kitchen, while small, was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the living room furniture was very comfy for our nightly Netflix sessions. They even had a DVD player with some classic movies! Great visit with great friends, thanks for being so responsive Ron!

We've stay here before and loved it. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our plans this time due to Hurricane Debby. Ron was super nice to work with. I just messaged him, and he was very understanding and made sure we got a full refund for the week. I'd definitely stay at his place again.

Great for family

The location was perfect. House had all the amenities we needed and more - very well stocked kitchen. Nice to have the beach chairs and bikes included. The beach was a very easy walk - perfect with a little one. The community had great ammenties. Felt very safe and friendly. The pass to the state park was a definite plus.

Ideal relaxing vacation location

The property was perfect for our two families. We loved our long walks on the beach, watching the sunrise, and collecting shells. The kids (and big kids) enjoyed the wildlife, especially the resident alligator.

Beautiful beach location

A clean, beautiful home with wonderful views of the ocean. We had coffee on the screen porch each morning and walked the beach each night. We enjoyed watching the wildlife right outside; alligators, migrating birds, and dolphins. The home is close to hunting island state park and we visited the park each day. We also stopped for ice cream on the way home each night. We loved the kitchen and used it to cook 2-3 meals everyday. There was great fishing, we caught black drum, red fish, pin fish, and sea trout. Ron was a great host! The kids say “it was the best ever!”

My New Favorite Spot at Harbor Island

I loved this place! It's in a great location with a fabulous view and not far from the beach at all. It's a much shorter walk to the beach than the walk from the villas! The house is very spacious and accommodating. The screened in porch is probably this house's best feature. I rocked away many hours on this porch enjoying the views and marvelous sea breeze. I'll be back. Sadly, not soon enough, but soon!
